Trumps family initially helped their father during the US 2016 election and were going to go back to their "normal" successful careers after that.
But what they found was a massive hole of capable people within Washington, Obama leftovers who have been working against the Trump administration and just plain lazy public servants.
So some of the Tump family decided to stay on and help out.
No no no no no... She's not even qualified to be "Advisor to the President", she has no credentials that would warrant such a position, unless stealing other designs from the fashon world counts and then having it all made in China.
You can't honestly say that in all of Washington there was nobody more qualified than her to accompany Trump?
Quote:Ivanka has lead an initiative to get companies to pledge either to train, retrain or put on apprentices.
The pledge received over 10,000,000 training positions.
And even if they come good on those pledges, so what? How does that make her more qualified than career diplomats?
And that claim of 10,000,000 needs a thread all of its own. Some of the biggest players pledging big numbers over the next 5 years, including Walmart and the Associated Builders and Contractors, they've pledged roughly the same amount of positions (training,
not jobs as many, including the President claims) as they have historically, meaning these would have happened anyway (give or take) and it's dishonest to claim the total number as being a result of the initiative. As usual, the Trump family claiming credit for the work of others.
Quote:She is also leading another initiative right now to Empower more Women to get into politics - not just in the US but around the world. That's why she was at the G20.
And a noble cause, but what would she know about the struggles of real women? This is evidenced by the fact that she's there without having to earn the right to be there.
Would she be there if Trump wasn't President?
Quote:She has been working her ass off very successfully - Something Liberals seem to dislike for some reason
It's not the work that she's done, directed others to do or claimed credit for, but the doors those who support her claim were never opened for her yet not only did she have the key, she had doormen to open them for her. Many people, most people would work harder than her but the same doors remain locked and guarded.
Quote:Jared Kushner - Played a major part in the Mexican trade deal - the Mexicans pointed this out and pointed to him as the major reason that the deal went through.
Given that the President calls them all rapists and murders and wants to build a wall to keep them out, a 4 day old cucumber rotting in the sun would get the same praise as Kushner in comparison.
Quote:He also played a major part in the Justice System reform and pushed it through.
A positive yes, but still is no diplomatic credential.
Quote:He is now leading the charge to try and work with the Palestinians to bring peace to that region and they are presenting a massive package to them right now.
Because Nepotism got him the job. He couldn't even get security clearance on his own. Again I'll ask, if Trump wasn't President do you think he'd be a candidate for the roles he has?
I know you won't play hypotheticals, but at least think about it if you have any desire to act in good faith on this topic.
Quote:What have our forum liberals done over the passed 3 years compared to the Trump family ??
Pissed and moaned how successful the Trump family is?
Being successful in one area does not make one an expert in another. The right people for the right job.
And you said it yourself, "Trump Family". They are unelected and unqualified for the roles he's given them, that the American people are paying for. Roles that should of gone to someone who worked their entire lives to be the best in those areas. You know, hard work, that thing you were just talking about earlier, only the door was locked to them because it was opened by Trump for his family members.
Trump's family haven't earned the right or proved themselves to be taking these roles. Nepotism in action.
If they're so amazing at what they're doing why were they not already in politics? They only look good because people like you compare them to made-up stories of people in those roles previously and they'll always be compared to Trump himself.
It's not a personal attack on the President's daughterwife, but disapproval of the nepotism and disrespect that this shows to countries Trump is already disrespecting and "bull in a china shop"ing.
The US is not strong enough to be alone in the world.
