I'm still amazed at the outrage on Folau'ss behalf by the very same mob calling for the head of Yassmin Abdel-Mageid.

She didn't say anyone was going to hell either. She just asked us to be compassionate.

yes but she is muslim ... how dare she ask middle aged white men to do anything
She stood up for her religious beliefs like falou. She even went as far as to tell us that Sharia is great for females? Pity she had to use ANZAC Day as a platform to have a go at our soldiers.

She did absolutely none of that.

Grin She absolutely did.

She told us that Islam was the most feminine religion. Sounds more like mocking religious beliefs than standing up for them. People mocked her for being an idiot, not for being a Muslim.

How the hell do you know that? I say as a contractor for the ABC/SBS she did have restrictions just like you say applied to Folau.

She was in receipt of govt funds aka tax payer funds and as such she should be bound by the same progressive ideals & code of conduct applied to ABC/SBS staff.

Or is it another example of lefty hypocrisy?

firstly, I doubt RA code of conduct is the same as the ABC's.

Secondly, who did Jasmine vilify in her comment?  She spoke about her religion. She didn't mention anyone else. Cheesy Cheesy

Who did Israel Folau vilify?  Saying someone will go to hell if they do not repent is not vilification...

noun: vilification; plural noun: vilifications

    abusively disparaging speech or writing.
    "the widespread vilification of politicians"
synonyms:      condemnation, criticism, censure, castigation, denunciation, vituperation, abuse, flak, defamation, denigration, disparagement, obloquy, opprobrium, derogation, slander, revilement, reviling, calumny, calumniation, execration, excoriation, lambasting, upbraiding, a bad press, character assassination, attack, invective, libel, insults, aspersions.

Where did he abuse anyone?  He named nobody ..........  Cool

This is the hyper-sensitivity defence as an attack on freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Israel did not actually vilify anyone. But we must accept that gays are so sensitive to criticism they will go looking for it on facebook and we must protect them from their own lack of self control.

Where has that been substantiated?  Lack of self control in what?

Because they get offended by Folau's facebook post, but no-one else on his list does.

"They?"  Some blob of poofs somewhere, some poofs, all poofs.  Who.  I was offended by what Folau said because he broke his contracted word.

I can imagine some poofs would take offence that Folau was repeating crap OT text which condemns them to Hell...and that is understandable as they would have been stunned by the sheer stupidity of it all.

How do you know what was in his contract ? The fact is that there is nothing about this in his contract. It would likely be illegal to restrict his religious beliefs or expression of them in an employment contract.
