in all fairness to mums who are frazzled all the time..she does have a stay at home husband...and I am sure nannys galore on the end of phones....she isnt remarkable by any stretch....all mums do more that one job at the same time as having and bringing up children...
trouble is for most of us its all taken for granted.
Maybe you should have read the article.
They're not saying she's remarkable.
"Just one example of this is the way she has balanced motherhood with her responsibilities to the nation, that is, the same way millions of other working mothers do every day."
"... the relatability of Ms Ardern, who demonstrates the same mixture of compassion and apprehension as any other young parent."She's doing a
wonderful job, just like millions of other parents.
Sweeping generalisations and no substance - no way can she effectively 'balance' motherhood and the needs of a nation - something has to give somewhere. If a politician is not full-time in the job, they are no good to us.
The second one is s sop to all those single Maori mums struggling on part-time casual at Colesworths ... zero real comparison in any way... and at the same time millions of other mothers are not working at all, and some are on the deadbeat path.
Many young parents have zero compassion and apprehension of their duties ..... look outside your front door sometime.....
.. and equally millions of parents are doing a dismal job.... you can't just arbitrarily allocate to one of the primest positions in the land only the good and say she's wonderful for having baby sitters on the public purse etc... jeez - say the same about Fat Joe in Washington....
Welcome Back - now I can chew you ass for real.... (snuckles)
