Haven't seen you around the traps for a while, Cods. Is everything O.K?

I have been sick...I am getting better though so watch out...lol..

Nothing serious, I hope.

Welcome back.

"Federal Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese's plan to expel controversial construction union boss John Setka from the Australian Labor Party next week has been thwarted in the Victorian Supreme Court.

"The battle, which has been described by national branch as "disruptive and detrimental" to the Labor party, could drag on for months, and the matter may end up in the High Court.

"This afternoon the ALP agreed to delay its plans while the Supreme Court considered an injunction request from Mr Setka, the CFMEU construction division secretary, to prevent his expulsion".

I am still being checked over to see what it wasnt or isnt....I think it was an infection just knocked me off my feet..I am a tough old biddy  they know they are going to have to kill me with an axe...lol....

I cant see albo winning this round can you???..

he now has the back of the Unions up....how will he look if the court finds in favour of setka?

As long as it wasn't that killer flu.

It's claimed a few lives in WA.

And no, I can't see Albo winning.

At the very worst, Setka might agree to leave the ALP for two years and then come back when Albo is busy pulling the knife out of his back.

lol   sounds like hes in charge all right.... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

he must be so smug. I cant see albo getting over this  that and the tax backdown.. hes backed himself into a corner... I can see another spill coming on....and the union will win the next round...thats for sure....

omg shortarse could make a come back...

It is definitely Shorty behind all this as he tries to get back the leadership and keep Labor in OPPOSITION for the next 30 years.

If I was in your position (not literally, I've got a bad back at the moment and can't bend over that far) I'd want Albo to stay exactly where he is.

He doesn't have much chance of leading the ALP to a win at the next election, so I would have thought he's exactly the sort of person you conservatives want as opposition leader.

hes being realistic  any right thinking lefty would have to be after the thrashing they just got.. he knows they cant afford to put a foot wrong and yet albo has managed to do just that in the first few minutes...

I think its nice to see a lefty own it for a change,  he hasnt pretended its a good look at all  so well done greg  makes a nice change from the usual stuff we get...

if greg is correct and this takes months to be dealt with   then it makes matters even worse...who the hell can have faith in albo while he is tied up in court by his own side... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I dont see Albo resigning  hes waited too long for this job

Now that's an understatement.

The happy clapper will go down in history as our second worst PM (right behind the basher).
