Were you shocked when Turnbull had no support from your corrupt & inept party?

Were you shocked when Abbott had no support from your corrupt & inept party?

I wouldn't call the party corrupt and inept...thats hardly a fair statement. We could go into the corruption of the Labor Party and their affiliations with Unions.

It wouldn't be the Labor Party if it wasn't affiliated with the Unions.

Mr Peccerry.....Hawke famously de-registered the BLF.  It would not surprise me if Albo moved with Morrison to deregister the CFMMEU.  It has become a rogue albatross Union the ALP does not need around its neck.

Wouldn't surprise me either.

And I'd like to see it happen.

It depends on what the SDA, AWU, and United Voice think about it.

All Unions (and the ALP) are suffering in terms of public image because of Setka and the CFMMEU.  I have had enough of them.  Stuffed if I will apologise for that Union at all.  I hope Albo does it.  Morrison will assist.

I'm with ya, 100%.

However, the CFMMEU injects a lot of cash into the ALP, and they have a lot of members.

The ALP needs them, and the other Unions do too.

If the CFMMEU disappear, the SDA, AWU, and United Voice will have to come up with more money.

That ain't gonna happen, because they're all struggling financially.

Albo has taken on more than he can handle, and it's gonna bite him in the arse ... hard!

Those CFMMEU Members will move to other Unions transporting that money with them.  They will not just vanish as people seeking Union representation.  Those other Unions of which you speak ought to be gearing up to attract the existing CFMMEU Membership on the basis that Setka, that Union and its thuggery is gawn......or soon will be unless it dramatically gets its act together, and that is unlikely.  It is fundamentally corrupt and well past its use by date.

It is time, Albo.  Take the far cars on...head on.

The CFMMEU isn't going anywhere.

Albo, unfortunately, is.

The others were all told to butt out.

From the moment Plibersek said "it's not my time", I knew exactly what was going on.

Being a politician is like any other form of employment. Turnbull and Abbott were overthrown because they weren't doing their job properly, whether that be on an ideological, policy or leadership basis. Yes, I acknowledge the reform Scott Morrison is bringing in to limit leadership changes which I think provides more sustainable and stability in the politics.

It's an interesting thread.  On one hand, you have those who would support the ALP over the Libs telling it how it is, the Lib supporters scared of Albo and trying to paint the picture that his leadership is over already, and the dunce in the corner just attacking everyone.
