I'm concerned for those people being abused, no matter where I am.

Moreover, I don't like criminals, no matter where they are.

I'm not surprised to see you supporting the illegal & inhumane treatment of people in need though.

I'm confident a poll would agree you should volunteer to go to Manus and help make their lives happier

failing that, seeing you reside in an upmarket region in NZ, no doubt you'd be willing to cash in your assets to buy a rundown place in NZ with your offer to take in at least half a dozen Manus residents, so you can provide for them materially

you've got it in you, so why don't you?

The same reason you don't take in any homeless, sick, or elderly people.

Why are they on Manus, greg?

Don't tell me they're illegals?

How did they get to Manus -- from where?  did they fly straight over from their homeland?  Or did they get to some other place but had no time for that?  Just wanted to get to the Land of Plenty with the free housing, medicals, money, vehicles, jobs taken from Aussies, etc?

He was released a few hours after 'setting himself on fire' wasn't he?

couple of hours?

a blister, perhaps?

He abused himself, greg.  But go on, you little kiwi beauty -- get yourself over there to minister to them and let them know you'll put all you have on the line in order to get them free so they can come to live with you in NZ

surely by now Adern has learned of your undying admiration and affection for her?  So she'll help you get those guys out of Manus and into NZ, surely?

and if they kill you as you sleep, despite your wonderful intentions on their behalf

well, we'll grant you a sainthood -- Saint Peccary, deceased, of Oz Pol

Why would they do that?

They're asylum seekers, not criminals.

Who knows, Greg

but there's a saying about biting the hand that feeds you

so there's a basis for it going way back in time

More recently than ancient adages (which have stood the test of time, obviously, seeing they're still in use) psychiatrist and psychologists and others claim now and have done for some time, that 'we tend to hate those upon whom we're dependent'

so we'll leave you to ponder

So, why don't you take in any homeless people?

What about kids living rough on the street - why don't you put some up in your house?

Abandoned babies - have you provided food & shelter for them recently?

The elderly living in squalid conditions without power and/or water - are you taking some in?

I'm curious.

I'm not declaring Morrison and Dutton belong in prison

Why are you trying to weasel out, greg?

read your own posts

everyone else has

so stop being a chicken and put your money/time/energy where your mouth is

you're the one who believes Morrison and Dutton should be imprisoned

then answer my questions about the origin and stopping off points of these guys and the one with a blister on Manus

why were they sent to Manus?

are they illegals?

why didn't they stay put at their first landing point in their flight as they're required to do?

and why aren't you cashing in your assets so you can provide for them, instead of losing the arguments here?

I predicted that Fuzzball would be the first one to show support for the government's illegal and inhumane treatment of fellow human beings.

Greg, you would be the first person to propose Australia doing away with borders and just let anyone come that arrives by any means to be allowed to stay in this country.

Incorrect.

All claims must be processed.

Those who aren't refugees, should be sent home.

Perhaps you have mistaken me for someone else, because I have never suggested anything even remotely like that.

No.

They're either asylum seekers or refugees, neither of which are illegal.

There is no law that requires them to stay put at their first landing point.

You have been misinformed.
