So, does this mean he won't be getting his huge taxpayer funded pension?

You know - the pension that he and several others were making sure they wouldn't lose a sizeable portion of by quitting politics before the May election because they were so certain their party was going to lose and opposition members get less pension.

No idea, but unless this promised recession is worse even than predicted, doubt we'll be bumping into him at the Op shop or soup kitchen

Funny man Chris Pyne.

Just thinking about that Chinese warship visit to Sydney.

Good ol' Chris would have given that the go-ahead.

I can just imagine him saying he had 'fixed it".  Grin

He was a "fixer" ... but not telling even the NSW Government that a number of Chinese warships were coming?

Would he have said:
"I wanted it to be a surprise for you."

Had to laugh.... I love it when these characters get 'professor' status for their bludging life in politics with their endless stuff-ups.... if that's advancing knowledge, everyone here should get a professorship - we contribute far more than those clowns do.

He'll do  6 hrs a week work and pick up a consulting job somehwere else. This is a prestige appointment, rather than a merit one.

In a time of universal deceit — telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)

He hasn't reached Preservation Age.

Seeing he was in Parliament before the changes they don't apply to him.

It a bloody joke how hungry politicians are.... paid professorships, on various boards, plus a $250 to $300 thousand pension for life.

All the while the peons are being milked of every cent govt. can. Angry

Did I differentiate on party lines?  I'm an equal opportunity employer of politicians and their parties - I oppose them all equally - with good reasons over many years.
