Apparently Perisher is opening a week early due to good snow falls. I'm loving this cooler weather, especially while the ocean is still about 20.

Sydney is worse because in Canberra you know it's going to be properly cold so you dress and heat your places properly.

Enjoy Bali, ya bogan, and don't forget your boogie board!

Gawd.....it is a simple yes/no matter.  Why do you keep looking for hand grenades when there are none?

I'm not going to the snow this season but my daughter is doing a camp there.
I could get her to chuck a hot water bottle out the bus window for you, at the usual place.

It's the coldest May day in Victoria since the year 2000.

This global warming is getting very hot.

Melbourne's cold May day

Ben Domensino, Wednesday May 29, 2019 - 16:23 EST

Melbourne endured its coldest May day in 19 years on Wednesday.

The temperature at Melbourne's Olympic Park weather station had only reached a top of 10.6 degrees by 4pm on Wednesday.

If this maximum temperature isn't exceeded by 9am on Thursday, this will have been the city's coldest May day since 2000.

The mid-week chill is being caused by a large pool of cold air from the Southern Ocean passing across Victoria. In addition to this wintry air mass, cloud and showers also limited warming in Melbourne on Wednesday.

The air was even cold enough for snow to fall in Ballarat on Wednesday afternoon.

Bought a citronella lamp the other night. Kind of worried where to put the thing. I won't be able to watch it burn in the house. And I am not able to keep an eye on it downstairs.
