Shorten still knifing

This bloke is just incredible!

Defeated Labor leader Bill Shorten has stunned colleagues by actively involving himself in the selection of his successor and attempting to hinder the run of left-wing powerbroker Anthony Albanese, whose quest for the top job has won a significant endorsement from senior members of the party's NSW right faction.

Bill Shorten is understood to be working to quell support for Anthony Albanese's tilt at Labor's top job as ther party prepares to elect a new leader following its spectacular loss at the federal election.

The left wing Mr Albanese is understood to have the support from Labor's NSW right faction, including Tony Burke who is calling for it to back the Shadow Infrastructure Minister over the right's own Chris Bowen.

Mr Albanese won the support of the party's rank and file at the 2013 leadership ballot, but Bill Shorten was ultimately successful after the caucus backed him.

Reports today say that some Labor MPs said Mr Shorten is "up to his neck in it", with one senior MP saying he had been "actively lobbying people making sure someone runs against Albo".

"It's weird. As a former leader you have an opportunity to be above it. You get treated with a whole respect for making that choice," the senior MP told Nine Newspapers.

Shorten can HATE almost as good as Moody Mal.

Shorten probably blames every man and his dog for his collapse.

Shorten will support which ever union brown noser the union selects.

Shorten has the union numbers and the union bosses are too scared to cross him in case he spills his guts and spews all the dirt he has on the union bosses all over the floor.

...
Shorty's dream of wrecking Australia and then retiring on a PM pension just like Gillard and Krudd did has turned into a nightmare --whinny!!

All hail  Chris 'Gumby' Bowen the anointed one, architect of the Franking Credits disaster (electorally)

If Shorten gets him in Labor's long term good aspirations are as good as Bleak House

Shorty is getting more like the Moody Mal saboteur as each day goes by. You can almost feel the heat of his HATE.

Shorty is relying on his union numbers to keep him there.

There must be white hot HATRED between Shorty and Albo Sneezy.

That's because Albo called him a robot, speaking from a script all the time, which is 100% correct. I like Albo, wouldn't be stupid enough to vote for him, but he's more likable than Malc's mate, Bull Shitten.

After the election you'd think the Labor party would get Shortens opinion on everything, then do the exact opposite.

I don't like Albos politics but he seems like a decent bloke.

Time to butt out Billy Boy, you had your chance at two elections and years of polling as the least preferred for Prime Minister - you are lucky to have had that long to head the party.   "It's Time" to retire gracefully and let the Party rebuild

The decision in deciding between Albo and Gumdby Bowen is like deciding between Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum

Ever heard of the prefix S.S.D.D. Same Sh.t Different Day

There are only these two contenders and they are both surivors from the shipwreck

Can't Labor find someone who has vision and promise?

I don't understand why, according to the idiots on here, shorten is suddenly not allowed to voice his opinion ... he's still a member of the party. He's free to advocate for whoever he likes to lead the party.

Good. Bowen is lightweight while Albo and Chalmers will keep the Govt on their toes.
We all want our Govt and ultimately our country to do the best it can, right?

Do you think the country dodged a bullet not having Booby Bill as PM?
