Payout Amounts for the Losers

Quote:
Clive Palmer's United Australia Party spent tens of millions of dollars on the election, but voters mostly overlooked the upstart political party, meaning it will recoup just a fraction in public election funding.

Pauline Hanson's One Nation is set for funding boost

Clive Palmer's United Australia Party missed key funding thresholds

Instead, millions will flow to the major parties, the Greens and One Nation.

Pauline Hanson's party looks to be eligible for close to $3 million based on initial calculations — an increase of more than a third when compared to 2016 — as a result of running more candidates in Lower House seats.

The Greens' strong performance in the Senate is set to secure around $9 million, around a quarter more than last campaign

Palmer wasn't actually trying to win votes or seats. His real goal was to give support to the Coalition.

Palmer's payback by the Coalition is coming.

And I hope you, along with the rest of us lefties, will be watching to see if clive pays back the 70 million he owes the taxpayer over qld. nickel and that his new mine goes under proper scrutiny. We know there would have been a deal struck before the election between scummo and the fat boy to cancel all debt and fast track his mine but the senate have got to stop this corrupt pack of scum getting away with this crap. Sounds like a good project for jacqui.

he spent $60m to get the govt's $70m lawsuit against him dropped, and get his new multi billion dollar mine approved. I'm sure that in tme we will see that for him, it was money well spent.
