Nationally, the Alabama law....as well as the others.....have 2 objectives.......one is to stop Abortion (murder in the womb), & the second is to force the Roe v Wade decision back in front of the United States Supreme Court, where if not completely overturned, it may be severely crippled with a decision that lets the individual States author their own Laws regarding the issue, where it was prior to Roe v Wade......let the People take it from there.
Internationally, as is the basis of this threads topic, if the leaching countries of the world want to continue to receive generous U.S. Financial Support, courtesy of the US Taxpayers, all they have to do is follow the rules as set out by the United States.
If they do the U.S. Financial Support would continue.
If they choose Abortion over the $$$ support, by not wishing to follow the new rules, then they, & only they, will be deciding that they no longer wish to receive the ever generous gifts of the American Taxpayer.
The choice is ultimately theirs to make.....their 'Right to Choose' so to speak.
The US Government might someday change its mind, but until then, if they want funding, they must honor the prerequisites established by the US Government.
