Fat Steve strikes back at horse husbandry exponent

The rise in obesity world-wide is being caused by animal husbandry workers like Aquascoot.

Fat Aquascoot and dobbin.

Weight gain in rural areas is responsible for a lot of the global rise in obesity
New study contradicts belief that cities are to blame

Rates of obesity worldwide have nearly tripled since 1975, and the prevailing belief is that city living is to blame. But a major study that covers 112 million adults suggests that weight gain in rural areas is responsible for much of this increase.

Members of the NCD Risk Factor Collaboration — an international group of health scientists — analyzed over 2,000 studies of how body mass index (BMI) has changed around the world from 1985 to 2017. (BMI is a height-to-weight ratio that is a popular measure of obesity, though not without its flaws.) The results, published today in the journal Nature, show that during this time period, more than 55 percent of the rise in BMI globally came from rural populations — specifically rural populations in emerging economies, which include many places in Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East. “In the world as a whole, BMI has been going up faster in rural areas than in urban areas,” study co-author Majid Ezzati, an expert in global environmental health at Imperial College London, said in a press briefing.

This directly contradicts the belief that people living in rural areas are less likely to gain weight because they eat healthier, unprocessed foods and do more physical labor. That may have been the case, continued Ezzati, but as rural areas industrialize, life starts to change. People don’t need to walk to fetch water because they have running water. They don’t need to walk to other places because roads are being built and cars are more common. These changes bring a lot of health benefits, added Ezzati, “but they also mean less moving around and less physical labor.”

As rural areas become wealthier, people living there can afford more food and, often, less healthy food. This means they’re eating the same processed foods as their urban counterparts, without the other benefits of city living that make it easier to be physically active. Notably, there are more sports facilities and gyms in urban areas, and far more opportunities to walk. Everything might be further away in the countryside, but that leads to people driving from one place to another. Rural areas also have higher rates of preventable deaths, due to limited access to health care. ...

if you went back 100 years, most people would have been trim tight and terrific .

but what happened?

well, the farmers of europe and america were put on the government tit courtesy of the EU subsidies and the american subsidies.

and when you start to suck on the welfare tittie, you are diminished.
your brain tells you to be a little bitch and a little puke and cry and complain.

the french farmers drive their tractors into town and "complain" much like the CFMEU.

now you are all sad and you see yourself as a victim.
it doesnt rain and you have a cry.
you cover up the fact of your pain, not by being a tough guy who can 'take it' but by being a little puke who has to eat maccas and drink coca cola and drink alcohol to 'cope"

you are no longer a proud strong resilient independant farmer

you are a little bitch who is just trying to cope and who cries when things dont 'go your way"

thats what happens to EVERYONE if you dont fight against it.

for the 1000th time LTYC,

failure is the norm
garbage is the default.

the farmers fell under the cultural hypnosis and descended into lower consciousness.
a lot of them are no different to white knight, always on telly putting their hands out, always sad, always wanting the mainstream media to run an appeal for them because life is so tough  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes.

yeah right, sitting in an airconditioned tractor and expecting subsidies and making a facebook page to complain about the drought  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

like farmers 100 years ago had it so much easier  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

A decision was made during the Nixon Administration to adjust agricultural policies in such a way that the cost of food was lowered. It has been theorized that this was done for a number of reasons, one being that people riot after going without food for three days.

Mexicans make good customers/consumers. This is missed in the immigration debate. Who doesn't make good customers? What group of immigrants is despised by American retail and restaurants? Indians and Pakis.

Mexicans and other Hispanics, in general, are aspirational and want to join the White Class. Indians and Pakis may work hard but they don't aspire to be White. Neither do Chinese. Which is why they make lousy customers and patrons.

thats the simplistic truth Bojack,

that you burn less calories sitting in your john deere air conditioned cab, then you do hammering in star pickets with a sledgehammer.

sure.

but everything is bleeding into everything else.

you get out in mother nature and get your hands dirty and you dont want to eat a pizza and drink a coke.

you sit in your tractor which has a screen like a video game and you want to go home and slob around on the couch and watch youtube clips because youve trained your brain to do that.

everything is a personal choice.
you give in to the mainstream and you will just become a chode,
you either take action to construct a healthy life or you go over the cliff.
the healthy life (mental and physical) does not construct itself  Wink
