Let me put it in layman's terms, then.

Substituting "philosophy", you use Freediver's forums and its surrounds as a platform to provide you with some self-serving validation or altar to weep/worship over. It provides your idle, bored mind with a cause or vehicle to grandstand your wankery in your head which never converts into anything beneficial to society unlike for example, science.
