Scientist v Spiritualist
Apr 12th, 2019 at 5:55pm

A Scientist will tell you that the blue of the flame, at the base, is the hottest.
And the Scientist is right.
A Spiritualist will tell you that the white of the flame, at the top, burns the quickest.
And the Spiritualist is also right.

A Scientist will tell you that the Earth is not the center of the Universe.
And the Scientist is right.
A Spiritualist will tell you that the Earth is the center of 'our' Universe.
And the Spiritualist is also right.

...there is always more than 'one' right answer for those who want to succeed in life.  Wink

Wrong.

You are comparing two different parts of the flame, so that is not an example of two "right answers."

Same with your centres of the universe, one is about personal perception, the other is about physical probability. They are not two answers to a question.

The meme is also misleading
You are comparing different sides of the cylinder. It doesn't mean that there are two answers to the same question. It means that context is everything.

Also, I have misgivings about the conclusion:

"..there is always more than 'one' right answer for those who want to succeed in life."

The subject is unspecified, yet the quote stipulates a circumstance that always happens.

There may be more than one approach to a set of circumstances, but that is quite a different matter to answering questions. If the question is vague, it is not really a question.

In each case the Scientist and spiritualist are answering different questions. For each question there is only 1 right answer.

So your point is not made using these examples.

However, it is true that different observers will have different views on the same phenomenon and both views can be correct, for each observer.

Somehow I don't think that Jasin was referring to Einstein's theory of relativity  Wink

By the looks of the above posts, beyond the original.
They answered with the mind of Science, but in a backwards 'Down Under' way.  Grin

Nope! I won't give in.

A Scientist calls it the Equator.
A Spiritualist calls it Icarus. "He who flies too close to the Sun." - meaning 'those who see the top of the world, when the world spins like a wheel, with the Poles not top to bottom, but side to side.  Wink

...following the Sun.
