Malaysia: abduction of religious activists
Apr 4th, 2019 at 1:46pm

- probably conducted by special police unit - human rights group.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-malaysia-kidnapping/malaysian-rights-panel-sa...

Quote:
KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) - A Shi’ite Muslim activist and a Christian pastor who have been missing in Malaysia for more than two years were probably abducted by the police intelligence unit, the country’s human rights commission said on Wednesday.

Quote:
The abductions bore “uncanny similarities” and both men were targeted by religious authorities and police over allegations that “they were involved in matters against Islam in Malaysia,” the panel said.

Quote:
Apostasy is generally considered a sin or a crime by Islamic authorities and proselytizing Muslims is outlawed in most states. Shi’ites are also persecuted by religious authorities, human rights groups say.

Obviously very concerning.

Hopefully this can be properly investigated by an independent authority, and those responsible brought to account.

Moslem = = a follower of Islam.

True, K.

Moslem = = a follower of ISLAM.         <---- dictionary definition.

ARGUMENT;
ISLAM teaches its followers     that it is lawful      to hate and to murder, any person who rejects ISLAM,
to murder any person who does not believe, what a moslem believes.

And ISLAM encourages its followers to act upon those beliefs.

QUESTION;
Under the preview of REASON;       How does willingly, being a follower [and material supporter] of such a philosophy, 'qualify' any person, as being an 'innocent' ?

"There is for you an excellent example (to follow) in Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people: "We are clear of you and of whatever ye worship besides Allah: we have rejected you, and there has arisen, between us and you, enmity and hatred for ever,- unless ye believe in Allah and Him alone"....."
Koran 60:4

"Fighting [against disbelievers] is prescribed for you, and [if] ye dislike it.....Allah knoweth, and ye know not."
Koran 2.216

"O ye who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty (unto Him)."
Koran 9.123

"Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain:...."
Koran 9.111

.

gandalf,

QUESTION;
Do Shia moslems       too,      recognise and respect the authority contained in the strictures of faith,
that are set out, within the holy Koran ?

Thank you gandalf.

Though i would proffer, that your 'communications' in this forum remain, as enigmatic as ever.

That, is not praise.

And I would proffer that too often you search for cynical motives in what people post.

This is a human rights atrocity, seemingly done in the name of Islam. Highlighting this as such should go beyond petty tribal or partisan motives.
