When you go to war based on bullshit expect your enemies to retaliate with every means possible....It was well known by the Coalition of the killing that the war on terror would create extremist retaliation....Why is anyone surprised the world has turned to crap since 9/11....This is exactly what the neocons wanted???

Neoconservatism is a political movement born in the United States during the 1960s among liberal hawks who became disenchanted with the increasingly pacifist foreign policy of the Democratic Party, and the growing New Left and counterculture, in particular the Vietnam protests. Some also began to question their liberal beliefs regarding domestic policies such as the Great Society.

Neoconservatives typically advocate the promotion of democracy and American national interest in international affairs, including peace through strength (by means of military force), and are known for espousing disdain for communism and for political radicalism

Isn't that what many are saying about Moslems ATM?

Until we acknowledge all sides of this and address them, this will continue. I've said this did not surprise me, it was bound to happen, it will happen again if we lay blame at one groups feet. It will only make martyrs.

So it is ok to condemn radical Islam but when we start blaming right wing extremism it will only make things worse....Cause and effect mate....We will not stop Islamic extremists until we stop bombing their cities and killing their children....Right wing extremism grows in a bubble and is about perceived threat rather than anything suffered by those who are racist white supremacists....Everyone who holds extremist views needs to be called out and held to account!!!

Huh Huh Huh

Where the hell did you get that from?

You are right, cause and effect, radical Islam was the cause now we have the effect.

It seems you think it's OK for them to come here or anywhere else and kill people because of other reasons elsewhere. That's not going to go down well.

You know it's not just whites don't you. The Chinese have a problem with these Islamic nuts too. Are they white extremists? Those yellow extremists deal with them much more harshly that any "white" country. They don't take shite. Who have they bombed in the ME to have them attack them? Islam is a predatory religion, it tries to force it way where ever it goes. It is the problem. Islam is not the victim.

Set ranted....

What a load of bullshit....Nobody is bending over backwards to excuse Islamic extremists but you are excusing right wing extremism by claiming it is being demonised....50 innocent people died because of apologists like you who think the extreme right are being demonised....Stop making excuses for those who kill innocent people no matter what ideology they follow mate!!!

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

You do the same for the ideology of the other side. They are both an abomination yet one side gets a pass because it's a religion.

Bullshit....Is that how you try to justify your own apathy toward right wing extremism and hatred of Islam....I have never excused Islamic extremism unlike you who believes there is a difference!!!

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I don't think there is a difference. What I have said is one side gets a "get out of gaol free" card because it is a religion.

Islam gets out of gaol free card....Were have you been for the last two decades mate....More Muslims have been killed than anyone else and most have been innocent....But don't let your bigotry get in the way of your blind hatred???

"Of the 18,814 deaths caused by terrorists around the world last year, well over half were due to the actions of just four groups: Islamic State, the Taliban, Al-Shabaab and Boko Haram.

According to Global Terrorism Index 2018, compiled by the Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP), these four organisations were responsible for 10,632 deaths in 2017. Their actions contribute to the instability of what are some of the most dangerous countries in the world, including Afghanistan, Iraq, Nigeria, Somalia and Syria. Over the past decade they have accounted for 44% of all terrorist deaths."

These countries are also at war....Do you think that might have something to do with it???

Huh Huh Huh

Those are the fig-yures, Major Kong... war or not .. WHY are they at war?  Because they killed people... mostly other Muslims.

I believe it was the lies about WMD's and the purging of the Sunni regime of Saddam Hussain that created ISIS....Do you have another reason???

Huh Huh Huh

The ISIS components were already there, they simply coalesced when they had 'opposition' - and then set about attacking primarily other Muslims.  If their forming of a group was purely to oppose the invasion of Iraq etc - why did they and still do attack other Muslims and Muslim nations not involved?

Don;t swallow whole everything you read in the papers....

Saddam's regime was not Sunni, it was secular. Taking out that secular regime allowed Islam free reign.

Quote:
Iraq (1932–2005)
Iraq became a secular state in 1932 after its independence. However, Islam was instituted as the state religion of Iraq in 2005 following the adoption of a new Iraqi constitution.[90]

It didn't create them, it just removed what had been suppressing them. Al zarqawi, Al-Baghdadi, Bin Laden all wanted the calaphate as outlined by Hassan al-Banna (muslim brotherhood) 1928.

More Muslims have been killed by White terrorists in AUSTRALIA than they've managed to kill in AUSTRALIA?

Most of the killings are Muslim on Muslim, either criminal or ideological ... with a few White people thrown in.

We are not New Zealand.... we are not Afghanistan.. we are not Nigeria... and so on.

As a nation we bear no group responsibility for such things in other nations, any more than we bear responsibility for the oppression of women in Yemen.  We may abhor it and feel we should do something - but we are no more responsible for it than we are for the deaths of Aboriginals in past centuries... or for the alleged persecution of women by keeping them out of heavy industry jobs and killing men instead....

The world has gone insane....

OH but you are Grap. If you don't toe the line of the new left's SJWs, you are the enemy. I'm about as not RW as they come but that doesn't matter. Unless you are 100% with their SJW policy, you are the enemy. I too come out more left and non-authoritarian than the Dalai Lama on the political compass but that means nothing. If you oppose anything from the lefts SJWs, you are extreme right. They've drawn the battle lines.

Q&A tonight was "Will Morrison be safe to win the Fed election?" .... then the bitching started about extremism, they were still trying to work out why voters of some minor parties feel disenfranchised by the Establishment. They simply can't work it out, poor dears.

I thought you were self flagellating over 4 Corners.

I don't hate people. There are ideologies I detest and I have said both of the previous numerous times but some retards cannot understand that people are not equal to their ideologies. Are you one of them? Is Islam a person? I don't mean Yusuf Islam either.
