Newtown NSW
Mar 25th, 2019 at 4:37pm

The greens again held this most important seat, for the greens that is.

Now for those of you who don't know Newtown.
It is just south east of Sydney
There is virtually zero greenery in this suburb of old terrace houses built alongside each other with no gaps
The streets are narrow, and virtually impassable by a normal sized vehicle
Many of the back streets have been barricaded off by the Newtowneze nutcases who don't want cars driving down their streets.
GET OFF MY STREETS
They say
Before the greenie council got in, these nutcases used old furniture,  and anything they could to stop vehicles traversing their streets, now they have real barricades.
The only problem
Ambulances and fire trucks can't get in either
A fire a few years ago nearly took the place out because the trucks could not get into the streets.

So
We have an area where no trees grow
But all the dimwits grow list of pot plants, and I say "pot" plants with emphasis on "pot"
It is also an area heavily populated by the terminally twisted, mentally ill LGBTIQSELFISH nutcases
In fact LGBTIQSELFISH is only half of the alphabet required to capture the nutcases living and breeding in this, the weirdest place in Sydney.

There are pubs that only allow specific gender identified weirdos
There are innumerable shops to cater for the terminally weird

Basically, Newtown is where you woukd find the likes of the troll socks we see in this forum if they were real people instead of socks.

But........
They know the environment
They are adamant that they know what is best for the country, where they have never set foot
They are adamant that they know coal mines, where they have never set foot
They know what's best for power stations, even though they know as much about power generation as they know about normality.

Yep, Newtown.
The place to be when you are too stupid to actually know what you are on about

I'll even bet they can, each and every resident, name the 73 genders.

Loads of Newtown kids are in their gaps years taking a walk on the wild side from their upper middle class boring lives. That's what many of them have done for years. They hit a certain age and then end up moving back into their own demographics towing around two kids named Tyler and Toby and a job in middle management somewhere. They are your run of the mill snots who are more judgemental than anybody. Pecca types.

One year, mate and I booked into a hotel in Newtown for Anzac Day, totally unknowing country boys that we are... had no idea it was a gay pub until we went to the bar for a drink and got looks from the denizens....

Once only...

"Hello, sailors!"

"We're not falcon sailors!  We work for a living!"

That's rubbish

The best restaurants are in Leichhardt.
You can have a different meal at each of the establishmens in Norton street and go for more than two weeks before you eat a meal from the same country.
Good food, great people, wonderful environment.

Better than the slop the pooftahs serve in Newtown.

And in case you want to know how I know this.
I lived in Marrickville for many years and have family in Leichhardt and Petersham.

Not Perth, trying to pretend they know Sydney

Have you eaten at the Italian place where the owner sings opera
He is quite good, and his daughter is gorgeous

Bloody hell, I was in Newtown just this very day. A fun game to play when you're driving around is, spot the normal looking person, you almost never do.

Back in the day, Zanzibar (closed now) was my lucky hookup place, lots of hot uni students, but not the feral ones. They'd go to the Union.

Yup, it's a totally gay and dyke LGBTABCDEF suburb now.
King Street = Queen Street
Erskineville = Foreskinville

I remember Newtown as just a boring place when the JETS were still in the then ARLeague Comp.

Then it became the downtown of Balmain and all the attention seeking weirdos moved in when the boofhead borings of the JETS folded.

Restaurants popped up to cash in on the attention seeking famers and the drugs rolled in too - just to make all the Uni dregs more sophisticated than they really were.

You're right Valkie. They talk 'Environment' and Greens - but its ironic coming from a place that is so oppressively 'city' in its style.

I worked Stanmore and Leichardt and lived in Petersham.
Far better restaurants in Italiano Leichardt and Portuguese Petersham for sure!

Newtown is now the new Kings Cross with the scum of the earth rooting around everywhere there.

It's just another filthy place of Sydney.

The lockout laws has sent them all the clubbers from the cross. Apparently all the LGBTIABCDE's are now having their once safe space invaded by all the Lebbos who used to go clubbing in the cross. Been a few trans bashings there by those tolerant swarthy types.

I Hardly go out past 8pm these days so let the stinking place explode for all I care   Grin Grin Grin

I'm from Sydney - I know it pretty well.

And, I didn't say Newtown had the best restaurants - I said it had great restaurants.

Good, inexpensive Thai, Vegetarian, Indian, Greek, and Italian eating.

I've dined in just about every restaurant on King St, and drank in every bar.

Back in your box, old timer.
