It's good that the authorities have acted quickly to control this video.

The NZ police did an excellent job on Friday of having it removed from the original site.

The Kiwis are a pretty efficient bunch.

Their PM is doing an outstanding job.

The NZ Prime Minister is doing a fantastic job in dealing with a situation that truely was unprecedented and unexpected, we should be commending her for that.

In relation to gun laws....the reforming of gun laws by John Howard was one of the most decisive and positive actions any politician has ever taken. The vast majority of Australia will not want to see this removed or diminished.

The population is largely disarmed....compare a largely disarmed population (ie Australia and NZ) to a largely armed population (ie USA). I will never....ever want to see policies relating to firearms weakened. The US has weak firearm policies and look at where they are at 40,000 deaths each year, 73,000 injuries each year, more guns than people (123 per 100)....

No matter who the atrocity was carried out by, a firearm (in fact numerous) firearms were still.

The right to bear arms is not a civil liberty
