" It came probably a bit sooner than expected … but it's a pivotal moment to — for a 10-minute period yesterday — have more than half of all the electrons on the main grid, this vast contiguous grid, being clean and coming from renewable resources." "

Wow. That's yuge

More good news:  Cool

World's biggest wind farm operator makes first tilt at Australia

By Anushri Sood and Peter Hannam
November 15, 2019 — 11.04 am

Iberdrola, the largest wind energy producer in the world, will make its debut in the Australian market with a $500 million hybrid solar and wind farm planned for South Australia.

The 320 megawatt plant, to be built near Adelaide, would be operational by 2021, and is part of a 650MW plan for wind and solar investments planned for South Australia and Queensland, the company said.

...

Xabier Viteri, Iberdrola's director of renewable energy, said that while clean energy had increased its share of the Australia market considerably there remains "tremendous potential for further growth".

"Like a lot of countries, we see increasing demand from the public and businesses for their energy to come from clean sources," he said. "When you have that demand, coupled with abundant natural resources for high-performance wind and solar, it creates a highly attractive market to invest in."

The company said it was aware of existing grid constraints in some parts of Australia following a rush of wind and solar projects in recent years at the Renewable Energy Target to 2020 gets fulfilled.

Under the plan, some 33,000 gigawatt-hours of new renewable energy - excluding for instance the original Snowy Hydro scheme - must be sourced from clean energy sources each year from the end of next year.

However, Iberdrola is confident there is sufficient capacity for the firm's initial pipeline of projects that will fall outside the RET, a spokesman said.

Spanish-based Iberdrola has operations in Spain, Germany, France, the UK, Portugal, the USA, Mexico and Brazil.

The trouble is there isn't any "evidence" at all except in the Greeny lying frauds' fabricated fantasies.

Perth endures hottest November day since records began

as Western Australia sizzles in the heat

Perth has broken two weather records

The temperature hit 40.4 degrees on Saturday — the hottest November day since records began in 1897.

It was also the fourth consecutive day over 35 degrees which is only the second time it has happened in November. The last time was in 1933.

Bureau of Meteorology WA duty forecaster Darryl Vink said Perth broke the record in style.

"Basically there's a high in the bight, a very broad surface trough down the west coast, [and] a hot air mass over the state," he said.

"And the north-easterly winds have brought down that hot air over the west coast.

"It's the hottest November day since records began in 1897, and it's also the hottest spring day since 1897."

1913 - 40.3ºC
2003 - 40.3ºC although this would have been measured in Fº and converted and so depends on rounding.

Some style by 0.1Cº the smallest they use. In the smaller Stevenson Screens that add about 0.50ºC to the screens according to research.

The trouble is there isn't any "evidence" for Global Warming as Global Warming is a HOAX invented by the Greeny lying frauds to try to generate interest in their UN One World Socialist "Govt" in a Sustainable World rubbish.

The REAL problem the world faces is too many people. That's why the Greenies propose to exterminate a billion or so excess population in their AGENDA 2030 to get down to a sustainable population.

The carrying capacity of the Earth is only
500 million humans.
We have 15 X too many people.

We can only survive by wrecking the planet.

It means that only 1 in 7 people in the world should be allowed to reproduce.
Then within 100 years we could get back to a world  population of 500 million.

That will never happen so unfortunately nature will
do the job for us but in a very cruel way.
People will run out of water and food.
Disease will kill off billions of people.
