India v Pakistan
Feb 27th, 2019 at 5:48pm

Pakistan opens with a car bomb in Kashmir killing 40 Indian police.

India retaliates with an air strike inside India

Now Pakistan is claiming they've shot down two Indian jets.

Yuck?

Seems a bit more serious at the moment?

Pakistan has shot down two Indian jets, a spokesman for the Pakistan armed forces said, a day after Indian warplanes struck inside Pakistan for the first time since 1971

Well I did predict that besides China invading Russia and the Moslems doing to the French, what the Germans did to the Jews - that India will have a full-on NUKE WAR with Pakistan/Bangladesh.

NK is at peace with USA while Trump is in power,
but after the Media has cheered Trump out of office and put in one of their own idiot Presidents. NK will go 'agro' again and go on the attack once China (Darth Vader) throws Russia (Evil Emperor) over the cliff.
NK will bring the USA into the fray.

But really. You want India's population get absolutely pulverised by 80%!!! Shocked

It won't go nuclear of its own accord.
But when the Rest of the World goes to war.
India & Pakistan/Bangladesh will go NUKEM HIGH!!!

So?  (And what makes you think it is a genuine thing?)  This pair have been bitching about Kashmir for decades, even before I was born.  They'll keep sniping as they always have.  Meh.

The injured pilot:

...

What's the latest?

Pakistan's information ministry published but subsequently deleted a video purporting to show one of the Indian pilots that the Pakistani military says it has captured.

In the video, the pilot - who is blindfolded and appears to have blood on his face - identifies himself as Wing-Commander Abhinandan.

There's no war, Booby.

The last one was in 1999.

The current kerfuffle isn't a war.

Bobby is right.

The 'War' in Kashmir has never really had an official 'ending'.
Ceasefires - yes.
But no official ending and the border is 'still' in dispute.
That means - still at 'War' (unresolved).

Incorrect.

Research the Kargil War, and see where you and Booby went wrong.

There is still conflict, but no war.

"Yesh" ... well ... the field is looking a bit "worsh" for wear at the moment and one player has retired hurt.

He is taking part in the tea break however. Perhaps he will return later in the "inningsh"?

Resumption of play is expected "shoon".

You're still wrong.

There's no war - just conflict.

The last war ended in 1999 - the same year it started.

Here's a good article:

https://edition.cnn.com/2019/03/01/asia/india-pakistan-military-balance-intl/ind...

...

Following their separation in 1947, relations between India and Pakistan have been in a near constant state of agitation.
The two sides have fought several major wars -- the last being in 1999 -- involving thousands of casualties and numerous skirmishes across the Line of Control in the contested Kashmir region.

The nuclear threat
One area where Indian and Pakistan are evenly matched is the area that raises the most worry whenever hostilities spike between the two -- nuclear weapons.
Figures from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute last year show Pakistan with 140 to 150 nuclear warheads and India with 130 to 140.
