Surely Minister of the Crown are held to higher standards than this??  Citizens are entitled to see Ministers co-operate with authorities not obstruct them!   No even willing to provide a statement to the AFP.  Nah.  Far cough Cash.  You too Keenan.

We need a Federal Anti Corruption Commission with retrospective powers to deal with these lying ass holes....Cash cannot argue against retrospective powers considering the ROC was granted such powers to investigate the AWU over a decade old allegation....Refusing to cooperate with an investigation which was only instigated because of corruption in Cash's own department is corruption 101....This rabble must go!!!

She is not under any obligation to furnish the AFP with a statement. She is exercising her legal rights. It doesn't matter whether or not you like her, that is the way the system works.

She should be sacked for lying and then covering up for her staff who broke the law....Typical of right wing hacks who defend this bullshit....No integrity and no morals what so ever!!!

The Australian Federal Police believed there was enough evidence to lay charges over the leak of an AWU police raid but were hamstrung by the lack of witness statements – including from government ministers.

In sensational evidence to Senate estimates, the AFP has also revealed it was believed that some evidence was destroyed in relation to the investigation.

You can waffle on as much as you want. Whether you like it or not, she has no obligation to provide a statement to the AFP. The right to silence is pretty well universal throughout the world's working democracies. It is up to the AFP to prove their case, not for members of the public to disprove it. If you can't understand this simple and long held dictum there really isn't much more to add.

Cash is a Minister who's department was under investigation for leaking to the media....She is nor just another member of the public....You can make excuses all you want but this Government has shown it is not fit to govern....The perception is that the Minister is covering up and she should be sacked for lying and failing to uphold the standards of Ministerial office....If you can't understand this simple and long held dictum there really isn't much more to add!!!

It doesn't matter a fukk that she is a minister, you still can't get it through your thick, stupid skull that she is under no obligation whatsoever to provide a statement. You might not like it but that is her right.

I never said it was not her legal right you dickhead....What I said was when a Minister lies to the Senate about an AFP investigation and then refuses to cooperate the Minister should be held to account....Do you think it is ok for a Minister to refuse to cooperate with the AFP in a criminal investigation you ass hole....Do you think it is ok for a Ministers chief of staff to tip off the media about an AFP investigation and then be covered by the Ministers refusal to cooperate....Cash should be sacked for lying and then refusing to uphold the standards of office....As you have no standards I see were you fail to grasp the concept of integrity and Ministerial standards....A crime was committed and the Minister failed in her obligation to the Australian people you moron!!!

I am talking about the reality dickhead....A Minister refused to cooperate with the AFP over a criminal investigation....The Media were tipped off by Ministerial staff over an AFP raid that could have compromised the whole operation....The Ministers office destroyed material that was crucial to the investigation according to the AFP....Typical of the low standards of the LNP and it's supporters....What standard do you believe a Minister should uphold and what accountability is there for any Minister who chooses not to cooperate with an AFP investigation....Cash should be sacked by any reasonable standard apart from your own dickhead!!!

Here you go dickhead....A politically motivated witch hunt which you right wingers are making excuses for....There is no grey area here....The Coalition compromised an AFP investigation initiated by the Coalition's own witch hunt....This rabble must go!!!

Whether or not her leader wants to call for her head is an entirely different matter. The fact remains that she does not have to provide statements. Anyone forcing her to make one leaves themselves open to having the evidence dismissed as being provided under duress. You are just a complete fukkwit that doesn't understand evidentiary law even when explained to you several times.
