Bam is still hoping. And the Lefties don't seem so sure anymore of their Welfare Paradise under Labor and the unions and the Greenies.

But for most voters it is anyone but Bill the apparently most despised polly in town as ScoMo streaks ahead as the PM voters want.

Mr Morrison's rating as preferred prime minister lifted two points to 44%, well ahead of Bill Shorten on 35%.

Can Shorty succeed in avoiding becoming known as the worst PM in Australia's history ?

The polls 'will tighten' ahead of the next election: Cormann
06/02/2019|8min
Finance Minister Mathias Cormann has told Sky News host Graham Richardson that he believes the polls will tighten as the public come to grips with Labor's policies.

Polls in the leadup to this year's federal election has consistently shown the Coalition trailing Labor by as many as eight points.

However, Minister Cormann says he believes that despite what the polls say now, when the election comes around the public will not be impressed by Labor leader Bill Shorten's 'big taxing agenda.'

And Shorty grinds to a halt as he tries to setup the Greenies' RESTART the BOATS with his silly meditransfer fiasco.

Proposed changes to the way sick asylum seekers are transferred to Australia are designed to end the nation's offshore processing system, according to Immigration Minister David Coleman.

But Labor - which has supported the changes - has rejected the claim, saying offshore processing is here to stay if it wins the next election.

Under reforms to medical transfers that have passed the Senate with the backing of the opposition and crossbenchers, two specially-appointed doctors could request medical transfers for offshore asylum seekers to Australia.

A minister would then be required to review their case in 24 hours, and if they reject it, an independent health advice panel would review it.

Despite Labor stressing the panel's advice could still be overruled by a minister on security grounds, Mr Coleman said the laws are designed to allow every asylum seeker detained offshore to be sent to Australia.

That would undermine the nation's offshore processing system and ultimately lead to its demise, he said.

Eternal optimism from Coalition media spinners.
Pretty much most Australians prefer the underdog.  And according to Juliar, ALP is the underdog in this election so i guess ALP will win this.

Hubris can see defeat snatched from the claws of victory....Never underestimate the power and influence of big business and the Murdoch press to campaign for their own self interest and support the Coalition despite their dysfunction, back stabbing, infighting and incoherent policy platform....Labor need to fight every step to defeat the money men and their pot of gold!!!

Huh Huh Huh

Once the campaign starts and Labor gets their right of reply, it would counter any hysterical nonsense from the Coalition. Labor has a lot of ammunition to use in the campaign. The Coalition's blocking of the banking RC is likely to be a particularly persuasive argument, and there's a lot more where that came from.

Labor's got facts on their side by exploiting the Coalition's bad record in a wide range of areas. All the Coalition has is hypotheticals.

Counting Newspolls only, it's somewhere in the 40s. It's a record number, made worse by the fact that Newspoll has been polling less frequently since it was outsourced a few years ago.

Dumping Malcolm Turnbull was a mistake they refuse to acknowledge or take any responsibility for....The Murray Darling river fiasco is a shambles under their watch which they refuse to take any responsibility for....Bullying and intimidation of woman within the party they refuse to acknowledge or take any responsibility for....The banking Royal Commission they blame Bill Shorten for not calling when he called for it over 26 times and was flatly refused by the Coalition protection racket....Just to name a few arrows in Labor's quiver???

Putting aside the fact the PM usually enjoys a buffer as Preferred PM,  if it actually mattered then why did they get rid of Damp Squib who enjoyed a healthier lead?

The WA Polly Waffle VIRUS has got the stutters again and is dribbling  - must be getting nervious.

Bilious Billy is teetering on the jaws of defeat as he muddles and dodders on lame duck Phelpsy's RESTART the BOATS insanity.

If Bilious Billy passes lame duck Phelpsy's ridiculous bill then it is widely forecast the boats will start arriving in a week and then Labor's chances will get smaller with the arrival of each boat.

The old Lefties are getting increasingly touchy as they very very slowly begin to realize that Bilious Billy is very unpopular with voters and would be the WORST PM in Australia's History and that Labor would be the CFMEU controlling monetary policy and the mad as cut snakes Extremist Greenies controlling Social policy and would be far worse than their previous six sick years of Socialist insanity.

There is now a mass retiree and pensioners vote AGAINST Labor which ScoMo is helping along. A bit of Murdoch front page stuff like they did with Juliar Gillard should swing a lot of votes away from Labor.

Labor's planned vicious attack on small business is being explained to them by ScoMo in great detail.

Gosh the pressure inside Labor to RESTART the BOATS is getting so great they just can't wait to announce it all.

Fancy losing the election over lame duck pseudo Greeny Phelpsy.

Gee won't the People Smugglers be getting excited ? And will SHY be the Commander in Chief of the people Smugglers again.

Will ScoMo tell the border guards to let a few of Labor's new People Smugglers thru just to shock the voters ?

...
History about to repeat itself.
