Ever since the dawn of time, when (like in 2001: A Space Odyssey) a Hominid thumped another over the head in a fight over a pool of water (after being inspired by 'Sin'... the moon).
Military has been a progression of having the 'superior weapon' as the win-factor in warfare, especially in regards to the Old Worlds.
But in South America: Warfare was a form of 'ceremony' and 'rules'. It was a 'social' occassion like no other among all the tribes and civilisations (people who build big buildings
). Besides their mega-crops being a means to food AND mind-altering narcotics.
They would go to 'war' with other tribes - not to 'destroy', but to just 'enjoy' and cull a few along the way.
I guess - with the creation of NUCLEAR missiles, bombs, etc.
The Military have created a weapon that can basically destroy all of humanity and life on this planet!
So where does the Military go from there?
That nations like Russia, China, USA and some others have the capability to destroy 'everything' to either a total or drastic level...
Where then, will they 'draw the line' _______________
and conform to a more South American style of warfare?
I think they have already crossed the line.
I don't think even China or other nations will be stupid enough to just let fly 'all of their nuclear missiles' in every direction at any possible threat.
If they did - they would destroy themselves too.
