Shorten lying about ADANI
Jan 10th, 2019 at 9:07pm

Bulldust Billy is lying with forked tongue thru his false teeth about ADANI as the Extremist Greenies threaten to disembowel him.

Everyone now knows the Greenies will control the SENATE if Labor wins and RESTARTS the BOATS and so just like last time the Greenies will control Labor.

So Bulldust Billy is trying to save votes in Nth Qld where they want ADANI to proceed but he will change his mind if he wins the election as the Greenies lean on him and tell him to RESTART the BOATS and wreck the housing market and send rents thru the roof and increase power prices by 5 to 6 times.

Adani won't affect emissions: Shorten
Updated 22 November 2018

Labor Leader Bill Shorten says an Adani coal mine in Queensland wouldn't affect Australia's emissions, should it go ahead.

Adani's proposed coal mine in Queensland would not worsen Australia's greenhouse gas emissions, according to federal Labor leader Bill Shorten.

When asked when there would be enough damage from climate change - such as harm to the Great Barrier Reef - to prompt Labor to block the mine, Mr Shorten said he didn't accept the proposition.

"I believe that our policies on renewable energy will actually reduce our emissions. The actual decision about Adani is not going to affect Australian emissions," he said after a speech on Thursday.

"The IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) has made it clear that the way you take global action isn't through particular projects.

"So we are very committed to protecting the reef, we are very committed to taking action on climate change, and we've made it very clear that we won't put any taxpayer resources into the Adani mine."

His comments came as dozens of activists opposed to the Carmichael coal mine in the Galilee Basin rallied outside the Sydney event.

Others formed queues on Thursday morning outside Mr Shorten's Melbourne office and the offices of senior Labor MP Anthony Albanese in Sydney and Queensland Premier Anastacia Palaczszuk.

Brisbane-based Stop Adani activist Anne Gardiner said Labor's energy policy lacks credibility if it allows the Adani mine to go ahead.

"With the impacts of climate accelerating, the world just can't afford to mine and burn more coal or allow unprecedented volumes of water to be extracted from inland rivers and precious water basins," she said in a statement.

Mr Shorten has previously said there is still plenty of scepticism that the controversial project will ever proceed.

Adani, an Indian mining giant, revealed earlier this month it had scaled back its plans for the mine as it tries to stitch up funding for the project.

The original $16.5 billion Carmichael coal mine planned to export 60 million tonnes of thermal coal each year, but capital costs have now been scaled back to less than $2 billion for the first stage.

Just like all the Liberals non core promises ?

They have their own category for election promises that they never intend to keep.

Do you remember Tony Abbott's commitment ?

No cuts to Education, no cuts to Health, no changes to pensions, no changes to GST, no cuts to ABC or SBS under any government I lead.

The only commitment he didn't break was the GST and they investigated doing that as well but found that they couldn't. I was not that they intended to keep that commitment.

You could hardly be more wrong in your comment, Labor are much more likely to keep their promises.

Stop Adani protesters gather in cities, take aim at Scott Morrison's activism comments

ABC News
9 Dec 2018.

Student activists who felt the Prime Minister was condescending last week over climate issues have vowed to remove the Liberal Party from power — and keep it out — as long as it maintains its current policies.   Smiley
Key points:

A national survey showed a majority of respondents supported student protests on climate change
Rallies took place in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Cairns
Junior activists said the Prime Minister's comments compelled them to march

Thousands of protesters gathered in capital cities on the east coast on Saturday in a coordinated march against Indian energy giant Adani's Carmichael mine and rail project.

At the end of last month, Adani announced the scaled-back $2 billion controversial coal mine in the Galilee Basin would go ahead and would be 100 per cent self-financed, with work starting before Christmas.

While the attendees at the rally were diverse, it was school-aged students who were leading the crowds.

"It's awful to see our leader feels like we shouldn't have opinions and we shouldn't care and they shouldn't listen to us," 14-year-old Jean Hinchliffe said in response to Mr Morrison's calls last week for "less activism in schools".

"It's just atrocious. As students we are very informed and very educated and that's why we're taking action.   Smiley

"We're fighting for our own futures."

Jean Hinchliffe, 14, addresses the crowd at Sydney's Town Hall Square. (ABC News: Kevin Nguyen)

Jean was the organiser of the Big School Walk Out in Sydney, which saw thousands of students leave classrooms and march through the streets.

She spoke to more than 1,000 people at Sydney's Town Hall Square on Saturday and said it was unlikely to be her last time marching against the Coalition.

The PM wants "less activism" in schools, but experts say it's all part of a "civics education".

A national ReachTell poll conducted after the student strikes showed 62.7 per cent of the 2,345 surveyed agree school students have a right to "demand that the Morrison Government act urgently" on climate change.   Smiley

The number increased to 80 per cent among Labor voters, whose party were a target of fury at Saturday's protests for their perceived silence on the Carmichael mine.
PM's comments galvanised students

Like Jean, many young students who appeared at the rallies on Saturday were part of the thousands of Australian students who defied Scott Morrison's call to stay in school.

While school-aged students will not be eligible to vote in next year's federal and state elections, they are becoming the face of the Stop Adani and climate strike movements determined to make it a persistent election issue.
A school girl hold a sign which reads: I've seen smarter cabinets at Ikea".

Daisy Jeffrey, 16, from Conservatorium High School in Sydney, said she was interested in a future in politics and Mr Morrison's comments had galvanised her, and dozens of her peers, to take to the streets.

"It wasn't disheartening, it made us more angry and more determined to go out on the streets," Daisy said.
In addition to Sydney, rallies were held in Brisbane, Melbourne and Cairns.

In Melbourne, hundreds of people sat down in the middle of the busy Flinders Street intersection, blocking traffic in a bid to draw attention to their cause.

Protesters gathered outside the Adani office in Brisbane before marching to Parliament House.

Mother Elizabeth Campbell said she was inspired by the children's call-to-arms on an issue that will impact them the most.

"We need a planet to live on, the kids are leading the way and I wanted to support them," she said.

"I'm really hoping it will become an election issue and it could be a tipping point. If so, the kids have done it, and that is incredible."   Smiley

The boring ineffective union and GetUp! propaganda parrot BlackDay is now squawking foreign controlled GetUp! and Extremist Greeny Global Warming HOAX and SCAM propaganda. What a waste of space hypocrite.

Everyone knows all the GetUp! and Greeny bulldust about ADANI and the barrier Reef is really trying to stop coal mining and is just trying to prop up the rotting collapsing Greenies' main political plank of the Global Warming HOAX and SCAM.

And to totally trash his credibility the propaganda parrot is quoting the very unreliable ABC Socialist Propaganda Station.

European climate activists bankrolling Australian political campaigns to back ALP policies making our electricity more expensive and undercutting our standard of living. Seems fair.

Activist group GetUp received a $95,000 donation from the European Climate Foundation in December. The money was received just prior to a ban on foreign donations being made to "political actors" in Australia taking effect.

GetUp! gets more foreign money as it focuses on globalists' pet issues of climate change, asylum seekers, coal-fired power & gay conversion therapy. Also, need @deborahcornwall to dig to find out who funds Sunrise Project, which gave AU$495k.

Self Defence Prevention Alliance of Australia
Just to put the commentators at @SkyNewsAust at ease, we recently paid $1,000,000 to @GetUp, but they swear they'll only use it for "research" (like Japanese whaling fleet 'research') on tightening up Australia's gun laws.

This makes our home invasion enthusiast members safer!

Now for some foreign controlled and funded GetUp! traitorous anti Australian activities:-
https://www.getup.org.au/campaigns/great-barrier-reef--3/stop-adani/stop-adani-s...

Did the old union propaganda parrot Blackday realize what a bucket of slops he was stepping into ? Doubtful.

"Get Up! Is an organisation of young people" what a load of total BS!!

**GetUp exposed: George Soros' tentacles reach into Australia

The left-wing activist group, GetUp claims it is “an independent grass-roots community advocacy organisation.”

GetUp’s founders David Madden and Jeremey Heimans are heavily involved in a number of similar US and global left-wing activist groups, each of which is tied to the shadowy billionaire, George Soros.

Madden and Heimans can hardly claim that GetUp is non-partisan when its ORIGINAL BOARD MEMBERS included Australian Workers Union secretary BILL SHORTEN! Australian Fabian Society secretary Evan Thornley, green activist Cate Faehrmann, and left-wing trade union researcher and “community organiser” Amanda Tattersall.

The largest donor to GetUp in 2010 with a donation of $1.1 million is the CFMEU!!

Yes because these ratbags wouldn’t be able to exist without foreign donations and foreign socialist/marxists trying to influence our politics. If you don t live here and aren’t an Australian citizen all donations should be banned and these organisations should be taxed immediately. It is only because they are pushing a radical left wing agenda and sucking up to the Greens and the Labor party that they get away with it.

The complicit culprits
