I agree. She could have at least completed the process and tattooed all over her face so she would look like a Persian Rug with all of its little complex images of no real grand design of 'image'.
Tattoos are like 'swear words' (especially when they exhibit hostile, aggressive, evil, fear-mongering 'images') - they are effective when used 'discreetly'. She is like the Artistic version of a Politician who just swears constantly in the House of Reps.
In SignWriting and Art - this woman would be considered 'too loud' or 'too busy'. In other words 'too over-done' to get the point of the art 'itself' across.
She has dispelled with any of the images upon her to exhibit instead the overall aspect of 'Tattooing' itself.
Personally, I'm a 'scars' man. To me, women like scars on a man, more than they do tattoos. I like scars on a woman too. It shows that she is the type of woman who will stand by her man.
