Pfft love how all these politicans got on the news and took the "holier than thou" moral high ground about this.

They all do it. Every minute they waste in parliament is a waste of taxpayer's money.

Every breath they take is a waste of oxygen.

But no, let's focus on the "far right wing" guy.

Care to explain how his attendance will do that? Doesn't he represent Queensland?

Or putting more money into programs to help educate needy Sudanese refugees and lead them away from crime in the first place.

He will get voted out. He quit One Nation, was sacked from KAP and is not well regarded by enough people.

He will probably lose his seat to a One Nation candidate.

I think it is pretty normal not to see Matty the hypocrite's response to this political side of stuff.  If anything, he would be the defending the rally and the senator.  As will juliar and the rest of the coalition supporters.

interesting,

the extreme left and the extreme right are interesting.

if you are a green senator, you do well within your "group" to be the most extreme.
SarahHY would have the most followers on social media and would be the most liked by the extreme left .

the same is probably true of the right.
once you are only appealing to a small cohort of people, you are best to amp it up and you virtue signal by being even more extreme and that cuts thru the noise.

as the policial spectrum continues to polarise, the most extreme people get more and more of the attention.
and eyeballs = votes.

not saying its a good thing, but i think that this would be Annings strategy

They (all 3, THREE, oh my god!) are winding up the 'antifascists'.

And never mind the Islamic fascists, of course, too obvious, far more numeroius and actually influential. http://predicthistunpredictpast.blogspot.com/2013/08/islamists-get-their-nazi-sa...

CPA: Communist Party of Australia

"The Communist Party of Australia plans to run senate candidates in every state in the upcoming federal election, running on a platform to defend the rights of workers and oppose cuts to penalty rates and working conditions.

"The CPA has been in existence since 1971, originally forming as the Socialist Party of Australia from breakaway members of the much older (original) Communist Party of Australia. The original Communist Party dissolved in 1991, and the Socialist Party changed its name to the Communist Party of Australia in 1996."

Here in Perth, I often have a beer or two with the President of the CPA, Vinnie.

A really nice guy, and very passionate.

He holds his Communist Party meetings in my local pub.

In the 2010 election, there was 'Communist Alliance'.

Anning gave a real car crash of an interview, in which he claimed he wasn't at the rally but was 100 metres away at a different rally - despite being photographed at the rally he denied attending.

“No, it’s fine,” was his response.

He is.  Guess you are looking forward to re-electing him?

be interesting to see how he goes.

He will get voted out. He quit One Nation, was sacked from KAP and is not well regarded by enough people.

He will probably lose his seat to a One Nation candidate.

interesting,

the extreme left and the extreme right are interesting.

if you are a green senator, you do well within your "group" to be the most extreme.
SarahHY would have the most followers on social media and would be the most liked by the extreme left .

The Greens are not extreme left. Some parties are farther to the left than the Greens, such as the Socialists and the Communists.

You really should brush up on your knowledge of left-wing politics in Australia. You're too clueless about the topic to be making any credible remarks on it.

what names do they run under in OZ bam? Roll Eyes

I have never seen the Communist party run here.
not above ground at any rate.

Australian Communist Party To Run Candidates In Every State At Upcoming Election

And of course, there's Socialist Alliance and Socialist Equality Party, who both ran in the 2016 and 2013 federal elections.

Neo-nazis get wires crossed, end up at St Kilda Adventure Playground

When Salisbury’s resident neo-nazis Morgan Dolkhatch and Barry “Knuckles” Mudflap found out about an upcoming rally of right wing extremists they became terribly excited. Public displays of their strongly-held views are, in their view, unfairly shunned by the general public.

The event, promoted as a Cronulla-style spectacle of race-hate violence - b.y.o. snacks was right up the alley of the two. Unfortunately, Dolkhatch and Mudflap had mistaken the venue of Melbourne beachside suburb St Kilda for the northern Adelaide beach of the same name.

‘We got there and there were about 30 or 40 other protesters’, says Mudflap, ‘mostly little kiddies. I thought to myself “Great! Finally parents of today are knocking some sense into this generation”. You know, they’re not the angriest protesters going around, but what they lack in violent, bigoted beliefs they make up for in enthusiasm. Especially around slippery dips’.

‘It really was unlike any protest I’ve been to’, adds Dolkhatch, a lot more fun, really. We got to play on the pirate ship, I went on the flying fox, but Knuckles was too scared and then we had lunch. One of the other mums asked if we were hungry, you know we only brought placards with us, we didn’t know that we’d be having a picnic. We had ham sandwiches’.

The pair labelled their protest as a “resounding success” and said that they would be back to “continue protesting the ongoing victimisation of white people next week, probably with a picnic rug next time”.

"The ACTU condemns the rally of white supremacists and neo-nazis in Melbourne over the weekend.

"Our movement’s history is one of working people of all racial backgrounds coming together to fight for a better life, a fairer country and a more just society.

"The Australian union movement represents working people from all races.

"We acknowledge, respect and stand alongside First Nations people.

"Most people living in Australia today are the descendants of working immigrants who came to Australia seeking to build a better life.

"We are a movement that continues to welcome migrants, refugees and those seeking asylum.

"People who spread hate, fear and intimidation based on race must be stood against and condemned.

"We know that attempts to divide us along racial lines – whether they come from self-interested politicians or hate-fueled extremists – seek to undermine our solidarity and weaken our movement.

"These attempts will fail."

Would coalition MPs be better off if they supported the rally?  After all they wouldn't want to lose their base (again) on the wrong side of issues.

I am not sure.  At the very basic core, the LNP stands for big and small businesses.  I am not sure many of those people there with the nazi salute have business of their own.   You know, probably on this issue they are far right, dont be surprised that they are also on the welfare and would vote for labor when it comes to their pocket money.

An 'X' is only acceptable on the Senate ballot paper.

They need to know actual numbers for the HOR.

Looking at those neo-Nazis at the protest, I doubt they could spell their own names let alone count to potato.

I figured that. Yet probably not a great PR move to make nazi salutes - even in jest - when you are attending a rally organized by an actual nazi sympathiser:

Quote:
However, screen shots of his online activity have emerged that show he has expressed radical anti-Jew, anti-woman and pro-Nazi views.

In one Facebook post that included a photograph of Adolf Hitler, Mr Cottrell commented: "There should be a picture of this man in every classroom and every school, and his book should be issued to every student annually."

https://www.smh.com.au/national/blair-cottrell-leader-of-aussie-patriots-upf-wan...

And for what its worth, I think the anti-fascist crowd are just idiots. I think they are fools for ensuring that every skin-head gathering, no matter how small and insignificant, becomes a full blown media extravaganza - complete with absurd numbers of riot police.

Basically, if no one notices a nazi rally, did it really even happen?

Give these skinheads the oxygen that they deserve - ie none.

Do you think that an active counter voice may serve as support for the people victimised by such rallies?

Do you not think that such sentiments deserve to be vociferously rejected, not least to show solidarity with those targeted?

I'm firmly of the opinion that such shows of hatred and bigotry require public opposition ... for reasons including and beyond what i identified above.

Well well, who would have thought that gangs of up to 100 of these blacks rampaging through the city streets robbing and maiming people on a consistent basis  would bring out some protesters.

With the likes of Tanya plibersek constantly saying we are the most successful multicultural country in the world and what is needed is for us to become more educated and tolerant is only adding fuel to the fire, especially to those that have been robbed and maimed, and their families and friends.

The cops are being given the runaround, they are like the keystone cops to these highly organized large gangs, they would know the cops and where they are, they all have the latest stolen phones for communication and stolen adidas shoes for quick getaways, as if any of our cops could catch them on foot anyway.
Or, the cops are reluctant to cause any racial tension.
Or, the cops are afraid of being beaten up.
Or, All the blacks look the same, especially if they are in a shadow or its night time, so they have no idea who is who.
Or, all of the above.

Australia is moving into very unfamiliar territory. The elite are out  of step with normal people. People are getting sick of full scale immigration and the elite are continuing on that worn out old line of the great melting pot. It doesn't work. I see black clouds coming our way. It had to happen. Nobody has the right to change our country like they have.

It's pretty brazen to bung it on at one of Melbourne's landmarks ( St Kilda Beach) a whole bunch of times. Doesn't sound like the blacks are too scared of the police. My bet is that they think they can do what they want because our country is becoming so  pussified.

We're all waiting patiently for the police to do something about it.
They hardly ever arrest anyone.

How would you know?

Anning has well and truly nailed his colours to the mast....I don't like his chances of being re-elected as an Independent but at least people know what they are voting for???

I'm firmly of the opinion that such shows of hatred and bigotry require public opposition ... for reasons including and beyond what i identified above.

you forgot to add
"and to feel all those strong emotions i like to feel because i havent mastered my emotions yet "

No. I didn't.

But you routinely forget to add it to the right side of politics.

Your problems with "feelings" always seem to be about the ones not representing your ideology.

most small business owners (the true liberal base) have emotions like "core confidence, action taking, courage, laser like focus, ". they have a north star and are masters of their own emotions.

when was the last time that these awesome individuals staged an activist rally Cheesy Cheesy.

they realise the futility of emotions masquerading as action.

its always the unhinged greens, the unhinged unions , the unhinged university chodes who attend rallies.

as for the right wingers who organise rubbish like this, i would say they should take personal responsibility to walk the "narrow road to success".

they should hit the gym, do a martial art, become an awesome alpha male.
if a crazy gang member then tries something, they can "show them who's boss" so to speak.

the Apex gang should provide the emotional juice for fat steve to move up in the world.
all problems are their for our benefit and we must bravely step forward to confront our fears.

once you are a black belt and able to despatch with an apex gang member, then they would elicit nothing but a wry smile.
it reflects a deficit of training of our police force that they are in any way intimidated by some naughty boys who merely need to be shown who is who in the zoo

Yes, I agree.

Fraser Anning is trying to find his own little niche in an attempt to survive the election.  So, he goes extreme, gets alot of publicity, and put himself on the front pages.

yeah.

thats the case.

check out twitter.

the most extreme politicians to the left or the right in america or europe or here have the most followers
and dont forget trump won the election by understanding this.

in the future, there will be politicians who know how to attract followers and there will be politicians who lose their seats.

he may be a bit too extreme , but you can expect that polarisation is only going to get worse

According to this article:

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-01-08/fraser-anning-billed-taxpayers-thousands-for-right-wing-rally/10696816

Flight to attend another ring wing rally - From Brisbane to Sydney cost $1810
+ further $810 for accomodation.

Flight this time: $3000

Come on! Seriously?  $1800 from Brisbane to Sydney, and then $810 for accommodation.  Where does he live?   I stayed at Shangrila - five star at the rocks last time I was in Sydney in Jan 2018, cost me around $350 with breakfast and parking.  For $810, you
would have to stay at the Pullman or park hyatt or something.   Whats the bet that he had a suite for that price, because a basic hotel room is too shabby for him.

And $3000 for flights this time.

You know this leaves a very bad taste with the voters.  Here they are, these politicians, trying to rip what 10 or 20 dollars from pensioners and people with disability, and yet, help themselves to the party pie!

imagine if this was an anti WHITE group   marching and pointing and screaming.....how would you feel....

you luckily are in the majority....... it gives you a safe warm feeling knowing that..

but just for a second see yourself as a Sudanese 6 yr old.. watching that on the news.......you would think the whole of Australia felt that way about them.....

maybe give you some idea what Anna Franks felt at times... Sad Sad Sad

There were no Nazis anywhere near Anning.
There some idiots in a big crowd who did a Nazi salute &

try to make everyone believe that Anning is a Nazi.

Why exactly can't  people oppose immigration? Why cant people oppose particular kinds of immigration,  cultures, values?

Why must everyone clap for the demographic and cultural transformation of Australia and the West?  When whitey goes to the third world it's  colonialism   but when the third world comes to the West it's wonderful multiculturalism and enrichment - as if there was any third world culture that could be seen as an improvement on western  civilisation.
It's dreadful propaganda and blatently untrue that disparate cultures can live together in harmony. Hasn't  eved happened anywhere and isn't happening now.

I live in one of the most multicultural suburbs in the country, and everyone gets on fine most of the time.

I've never seen any cultural clashes.

Well put, cods.

White privilege: never being asked to condemn the crimes of other white people, while everyone else gets tainted with collective guilt.

Collective guilt isn't really a thing, except in the minds of racists. People are only responsible for their own actions, not the actions of others.

Gang bashes and robs beachgoers in wild brawl on St Kilda foreshore

https://www.theage.com.au/national/victoria/gang-bashes-and-robs-beachgoers-in-w...

A large group of youths have allegedly bashed and robbed beachgoers in a wild brawl on the St Kilda foreshore in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Police said they struggled to contain the violent scenes as young people of African appearance fought each other and assaulted bystanders just before 3am.

Disturbing video footage of the brawl has emerged that shows young men and women kicking and punching each other.

Police said the large gang were wanted over a series of robberies and assaults at the beach and surrounding areas, which started about 11pm on Wednesday night.

A 16-year-old boy and his friends were allegedly punched in the face and robbed on the foreshore with youths stealing their phones, watches and the shirts off their backs.

His father Alex Carter said his son had been left traumatised by the alleged assault.

"They left them standing half nude in the street," Mr Carter told Channel 7.

"These guys are so clever the way they do it (the robberies), that it just sort of looks like a couple of teenagers having a bit of fun."

Police were called to The Esplanade about 2.55am after 60 youths trashed a McDonald's restaurant, throwing chairs and smashing a window.

"Unfortunately last night we had a large number of youth attend, of African appearance, who have engaged in anti-social behaviour," Inspector Jason Kelly told reporters on Thursday.

"Their behaviour was just totally unacceptable and I'd call on them to come forward and hand themselves in before we track them down."

Anyone with any information or footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Every legislator should be attending these events and learning as much as they can.

Gang violence buy minority immigrants is something that needs to be curtailed by legislation.

The politicians that are to frightened to attend and become informed are negligent and contributing to the problem.

Yes - we need legislation to help the police stop these gangs.
They stopped the bikie gangs in QLD with legislation.
Now they have all come to Victoria to operate
their drug running crime syndicates.

Victoria is seen as an easy place to get away with organised crime.

How about climate change, poverty, aged care, wage theft? Protests in general? Do we make every legislator attend and learn as much as they can at every one of these too?

- As far as I know, no one in Australia was hung in the 20th century for trespassing, assault or theft.
- The last person to have been killed by any form of Capital Punishment was in 1967. The last state to abolish Capital Punishment, NSW, was in 1985.
- "Hang 'Em High" was a film more about the consequences of Capital Punishment rather than its advantages.

On January 18, 2009, 3000 demonstrators marched in Melbourne to condemn the unilateral ceasefire announced by Israel in the Gaza Strip … The rally was organised by Australians for Palestine … Sarah Hanson-Young addressed the (protesters) … (In the crowd was) a placard, carried by a Muslim child … (saying): “Jews haven’t learn (sic) they need (a swastika) more than before”. Another depicted a … Star of David superimposed over a pig. And there was the T-shirt which featured a swastika embedded in a Star of David … emblazoned (with the words) … “Jewed To Death.com”.

The hypocrisy of the pile-on merchants needs to be noted. When they couldn’t convict (Anning) of racism, they started hyperventilating about the $2800 cost to taxpayers of ferrying him from Brisbane to St Kilda beach. Yet no one had any problem when Bill and Chloe Shorten spent far more taxpayer dosh to whoop it up at the mardi gras last year in Sydney … “I don’t think the Australian taxpayer should be footing the bill for (Anning) to hang out with these Nazi mates of his,” said Greens senator Sarah Hanson-Young.

April 20 last year:

Palestinians fly swastika kite with petrol bomb across Gaza border into Israel (on) April 20 … Hitler’s birthday

May 21, 2017:

The PA … named a school after Nazi collaborator and war criminal Amin Al-Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem … (and an associate of Hitler) … When the Nazis offered to free some Jewish children, Al-Husseini fought against their release, and as a result 5000 children were sent to the gas chambers. The PA has named two schools after Nazi collaborator Hassan Salameh … In 1944, he was sent on a mission by the Nazis … (to start an) Arab revolt against the British and poison Tel Aviv’s water sources.

shy has done more than anyone to show her complete bias.....let her pay for herself and see how many she attends... Angry Angry

Of course it's bullshit.

Despite several requests, over several days, they haven't been able to provide a link to this alleged survey.

Tsk tsk   Roll Eyes

I doubt Muslim and Sudo crime and immigration is popular with the punters Pecca.

I doubt 76% is a real statistic.

Well they did a big survey and over 50% of responders wanted mass immigration stopped right now. That gives you some sort of idea where people are with immigration. People want it to be more selective and cut back.

Like most rusted on partisan hacks they make up bullshit and do not care when they are brought to task....Condemn others whilst ignoring the graft on the side they support....You think they would suffer from a credibility crisis but like most liars they feel no remorse and have no empathy for anyone who is not a dickhead like them!!!

84% of Australians are sick and tired of Sudanese and Muslim criminal trouble makers and want them blocked from further entry and deport the ones already here.

16% are undecided/don't care/ zonked out.

Nobody wants more Sudanese and Muslim trouble makers.

Victoria’s crime statistics agency said in January that people from Sudan made up 0.1% of the state’s population. For crimes committed in the year ending September 2017, Sudanese people comprised 1.0% of the offender population. There were 846 offenders last year and, according to the same statistics, young Sudanese-born people committed 3% of serious assaults, 5% of car thefts and 8.6% of aggravated burglaries.

Deport the bastards. They are abusing Australia's hospitality. Chuck them out.
