Australian insinuations
Dec 23rd, 2018 at 7:06pm

I love discovering the odd Sci-Fi/Fantasy fictional book that is an insinuation of Australia.

Writers/Storytellers who use Australia (as they see it from the outside looking in) as their inspiration and adapt it into Sci Fi or Fantasy.

I've recently read
The Veils of Azlaroc
by Fred Saberhagen
and long ago
Songs of Distant Earth
by Arthur C. Clarke.

Both come straight to mind as two good examples of 'Australia' inspired futurism.

Anyone else got some other suggestions?

Idiocracy seems very Australian.

Great documentary of what is happening.
