She's only 8 years older than one of his own kids.

Does that have a degree of weirdness?

Its nothing unusual, have a look at the entertainment industry.

We have grown accustomed to seeing younger women with older men, by way of the media, so it is not weird anymore.

From a man someone whose wife is only ten years older than Ivanka. Oh, and he's an alleged child rapist too.
