You should go back.

I was up there a lot from 70's to early 80's.
Then returned briefly around 2003.

It has changed a lot.

I live way down the south coast now.

Ever been to Hole Shaven?

Been thinking about it.  Sydney is getting worse and worse.  I feel like an alien here now.

Might look down the south coast a bit but I have always been a north coast gal and it has been calling to me lately.  Easy drive to Sydney when I need to be there too.

Yes - I was living in the Shoalhaven for about a year n'half (looking after a mates house n' dogs while he was down in the Antarctic).
I live much further down now - in the Sapphire area (where Ye Grapplar used to live).

Yes - leave Sydney. It's not like it was (nor is Melb).
Head north or where-ever. Just get out of Sydney.
You deserve a 'quality' of life that Sydney just can't offer anymore.

Where's that?
Has it changed like Albany & Byron Bay? From a nice place for locals, to a tourist hotspot where locals are shoved aside?

Yes - nothing beats a deserted majestic beach.
Camp on the dunes, small fire crackling - embers rising up to dance with the stars.
Ambient music in the background of the immense silence all around.
The smell of the day's catch cooking.
The timeless moment of being away from it all.

Nice pic.
Reminds me a bit of the Coorong S.A.

So you like the Eyre Peninsula beaches too?
I like that part of the country.

The Eyre Peninsula has some amazing beaches- I cant pick a favourite- there are quite a few
