Family of Paki's just moved into town.
Straight from Pakistan. About 14 of them.
Brought over by their eldest son.
Straight away - onto the Dole.

Immigrants - and refugees - have a TWO to THREE YEAR WAIT for ANY Centrelink benefitS
The same time frame applies to Medicare rebates

This myth has been cleared up SEVERAL times, PREVIOUSLY

What do you make of this from a government website.

Exemptions to the waiting period

You may not have to wait if you're:
•an Australian citizen
•a refugee or former refugee, or
•a holder of a specific visa subclass and claim certain payments.

You also may not have to wait if you’re a family member of a refugee or humanitarian migrant:
•at the time that person arrived in Australia, and
•when you claim a payment or concession.

You may also be exempt from the waiting period because of your circumstances or your visa.

Exemptions to the newly arrived resident’s waiting period

You may not have to serve a Newly Arrived Resident’s Waiting Period to get some payments or concessions based on your circumstances or the visa you hold.

In that case, your calculation is wrong.  Of the 548 immigrants that entered Australia daily, perhaps about 10% is on humantarian grounds.  By far the majority is through skill based programs.  Which all have waiting period.   It is a myth that all of the immigrants are on some sort of welfare program straightaway.

Look, if you dont like certain immigrants of certain race or religion, then say it, but you dont need to  make up stuff about it.

Exactly.

If people are in need, why deny them help?

Look at the context.  Jasin was saying 'all 14 of them onto the doll".  Which is directly in reply to your opening post, talking about taking out the calculator implying that most of those immigrants goes straight to the dole.   Buzz said its not true, which he is right, because by far most immigrants to Australia currently is via skills or family program, which all have waiting periods.

Then, you tried to quote from government website (which happen to confirms that Buzz is saying).  Which relates to exceptions to the waiting period rules, which includes people and their relatives on humatarian grounds.  Which in effect, implies that you still think most of the 500 or so immigrants are potential welfare grabbers, which is not true at all.

Nope, it was a direct response to Buzz and his furfie.
I don't know what tangent or otherwise you are on.
In the meantime have fun.
