Remember seeing it on a national geographic show a few years ago about Roman civilization.

There was some question if it was used much
But apparently the screams from the person inside, as they are slowly cooked alive, made the sounds like a bull.

You have to admit though
The human race and it's proclivity to the most disgusting ways to murder it's own kind is absolutely horrendous.
