This terrorist act should serve as a reminder how "good" knife and gun bans work. Ban knives. Then a criminal stabs a bunch of people. Reaction? Pray. Candles. More candles. We need more CANDLES!!!

https://www.australianpolice.com.au/prohibited-weapons/

In Australia not even batons, tasers or knuckle dusters are allowed for self-defence. Wow. So gay. Australians who are normal people will turn into Sweden really soon. Someone attacks us? No problem. Let's PRAY. Candles. More candles PLEASE!

At least our police carry guns.  I can't believe with all the unrest and violence in London that their general police are not armed.

It's great.

I felt very safe in London.

You were as safe as the tourists and locals who have been killed in London in recent terror attacks.

Delusion or false sense of security?

Too many silly people think they just won't vote at all or submit a donkey vote as a means of protest which, of course, is pointless and protests nothing.

I agree that if you want to protest and make a statement that they might understand you need to vote for a minor party or independent.

ohhhhhhhhhhhh groooooooooan...

I would rather not vote at all than vote in a moronic with one agenda.....who can sit there  in the senate for at least 6 years    and stick his/her finger up..

no thanks....... they do count those who turn up but refuse to vote.....its called informal......it does send a message.....and I for one  hate preferences..... why should I give my vote to a third or forth choice  because of some stooooooopid system  thats past its use by date. Make the muzzos too afraid to do anything

I how
Should my family be harmed by any terrorist
I will hunt down every one of its family
Wives, children, uncle's, aunties, cousins, Imran etc etc

I will wipe it's tainted genes from the earth forever.
I don't care how long it takes or how much it costs

I will set a precedent that I hope will be followed by every crusader.

I remember years ago watching an ABC documentary about African villagers in Africa waging war on their fellow neighbouring villagers and how under the cover of darkness they would attack with hoe, fork, spade pick etc etc and kill man woman or child, I remember thinking wow,

“How violent are these people”

Maybe violence is in their blood…?

and that’s why they remain in the dark ages.

Not much has changed after 30 odd years, and quite frankly I think Melburnians have had a gut full.

Imagine going about your daily business and been knifed to death by this psychopath.

Round them up and send them back where they came from.

I'm concerned with the tone of the racist language here.

While there's are some issues with radical Islamic views, it's hardly endemic throughout the entire Islamic community.

Muslims aren't controlled by some hive mind that directs them all to be terrorists.
