In a time of universal deceit — telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)

"The owner of Queensland fish-and-chip shop The Battered Wife says she had to close the shop for the night after a barrage of prank calls and abuse left her fearing for the safety of her young staff."

The owner of the shop is a lady former cop who says she's highlighting the problem. The slogan further reads- “The only battering anyone need know”

Leftists and the Ayatollahs have a lot in common when it comes to criticism of Islam, they don't tolerate it.

No I still find it pretty tasteless. Probably more so from a female cop who likely has seen a lot of DV cases.

Extremely bad taste, especially for a female cop.   She would have known a backlash would occur so I have to wonder what her motivation was.
