Oh, you're just denying that he slummed around in the Embassy for years then.  Grin

Glad you cleared up which bit you were denying.

And it's certinally quite evident that it fits your leftist political agenda because of his 'leaks' ......
to bash a fellow Aussie at every turn
.....making him out to be anything but a man desperately trying to remain free ............ that he will be found guilty by your Leftist mob, before being prosecuted, rather than giving him any presumption of innocence....or deserving refuge!!!

Let's be honest. Australia doesn't deserve to have people like Assange.
Australia has only capacity to appreciate convicts like Ned kelly. Exceptional and world valued  People like Robert Hughes, Jeffrey Smart, Julian Assange can be only heated in Australia because they managed to rise above mediocre convict British mentality.
That's why Australia will remain forever Culturally tiny and politically insignificant.

Err... he slummed around in the Ecuadorian embassy for years, (still in there, but hopefully not for much longer) then launched a lawsuit against the Ecuadorian Embassy.  Wink

That's a crock of sh!t & you know it.......the Ecuadorians were kind enough to offer, & he accepted, but since the American Presidential Election, there has been a concerted effort to besmirch his character, & see him harmed......

Why does the Left, & obviously you, hate a fellow Aussie so??

He's one of our own Fer-Crys-Sakes!!!

I'd be interested to see this concerted effort to besmirch his character, Panther. Do you have any links?

Assange was a libertarian hero when he was assisting whistleblowers expose government corruption and the surveillance state. Call this the Deep State if you will.

His status shifted when he became the tool - and perhaps even willing tool - of Putin's attempts to sabotage other countries' erections.

This changed the whole idea of freedom of information. Information can be used in people's self interest. Publishers like Assange can become dupes in a global game.

Assange was never keen to redact his information, which exposed CIA agents and others. Sharing secrets can have nasty consequences for innocent people. Assange never accepted this. He has always been a believer in letting the chips fall where they will.

Prior to the embassy, Assange had spent years traveling and couch-surfing, constantly on the run. His parents moved around a fair bit too. This is Assange's longest stint in one place in his life.

Now he hasn't even got internet. What does he do? Forget his more carnal needs, how does he get food and clothes? How does he do the washing? He's been wearing that black jacket for at least 6 years.

It has nothing to do with what I've said.
However we still need to educate British colonial convicts how to gain freedom and democracy.

How does he get money? He hasn't had a job in years. I don't think Wikileaks has ads. He might get the odd drink from a journalist or giving a talk.

Who knows? Maybe he makes a fortune out of his fame, but I doubt it. Assange is not the sort of guy who's into money.

he may as well have been in jail.. who knows his time may have been up a while back.....

I dont think he is all that comfortable at the Embassy......and I would think this has given other embassies   room for thoughts on ever giving anyone else sanctuary......

he was relying on wealthy friends   not sure if he has many left....its all a bit old hat now isnt it anyway?..

the world didnt end !AMERIKA is still doing what it wants when it wants.... nothings changed...

Julian has done his time, you get less for murder.

He only had a root without a condom so he should have been let free ages ago but instead will most likely be sent to Guantanamo bay to have a confession extracted from him Sad

No they steal your boyfriend.
You should celebrate Assange instead to hate him.
