Spot If everyone did it the species would go extinct, theres that. Everyone doesnt do it though do they Spot No such claim was made. I asked whats wrong with being childless and you replied that if everyone did it the species would go extinct - as if that was an answer to my question. That is making a claim - unless you want to answer the question again? Spot I'm still trying to figure out what the problem is. The human species becomes extinct - so what? Surely the planet, and the animals, will be better off. I just don't see an issue. I hate to say it But for once I agree with you. It would be better for the world and quite possibly the u diverse if humans became extinct. I disagree, we may be the only life form in the universe and look how far we have come from a single cell organism, we have space ships that have left our solar system. If we can stick around long enough we may be able to send organisms to other inhabitable planets ensuring life has a chance elsewhere otherwise the universe may become lifeless forever. And why is that a problem? xeej? Some people enjoy life, you wouldn't understand. We're not talking about everyone being killed by some plague, or major catastrophe, or anything like that. We're discussing the prospect of women never having children, which would ultimately result in the human race becoming extinct. My question is, why would that be a bad thing? Nobody seems to have a sensible answer. And, why would it be a bad thing if there was no life anywhere in the universe - ever? You clearly never experienced the joy and happiness life Bri gs. You have to be born in order to experience joy and happiness. You have to actually exist. So, if women stopped having babies (thus the babies don't exist), and the human race became extinct, where's the problem? You still haven't come up with an answer. Only so much time to waste, you reached your quota.
