Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Passports and visas, Homo.

Not always that easy to get when you're fleeing persecution.

Do I?  Nope.  I want the Australian Government to provide Immigration Dept. officers in the Refugee Camps - as they did before Howard pulled them - to allow the Refugees to make application for Asylum overseas.   They can then fly to Australia.   A world of difference to what we presently have, hey, Hammer...

Curious do you have any constraints on migration or just let em all in regardless.

If they apply for Asylum.  If they can prove they are being persecuted in their home country.  If they have no criminal record, are moderate in their religious beliefs/political views they are IMO welcome to come here as Refugees.  Remember, they want to come here, they want to become Australians, they want our safety, our security.   Much better than the economic migrants fleeing another GFC...   Roll Eyes

So you'd welcome millions of refugees over the years?

You'd deny refugees the chance for a safe, secure life, would you, Hammer?

Oh, wonderful, how marvellous.   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Can't take in everyone. So there has to be a system of selecting and refusing refugees and immigrants. It's  called the legal refugee intake and legal immigration process.

Not hard to grasp, not even for people with fake doctorates.
