Some Australians don't suffer from Islamophobia...

Regional mosque throws its doors open and shows women what it's like to wear a hijab  - at least some Australians aren't afraid of Muslims and what they wear...   Cool

Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

No one is bowing, Hammer.  Typical of you to mistake joining in to experience what it is like to wear a Hijab in Australian society with the act of subservience.   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

What's the meta narrative here that playing dress up for adults somehow gives you an insight into the life of a Muslim women and their culture?

How lame and culturally inappropriate.

Wearing a feather head piece makes me understand American Indian.

Western women, from burning bras as a symbol of emancipation to wearing a hijab as a symbol of subservience.......

This is just LARPing.

Soon Australian women will be bringing their daughters to the mosque too, for FMG in a back room, and then marrying them off to a member of a foreign mosque,
in order to facilitate more moslem migration to Australia ?
[it sounds to me, like these Australian women are in a very 'progressive' headspace.]

But clearly, Australian society is still not as 'progressive' as the UK.

There are not enough moslems here yet, for Aussies to be that 'progressive'.

These Australian women 'are soft in the head', imo.

Or as scripture describes, they are women who are led into foolishness, by their own diverse lusts
[which sounds very 'progressive' to me!].

2 Timothy 3:6
For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

What a fun day it was.

They had a very informative workshop on how to beat your wife in a koranically appropriate way.

They had some blow up sex dolls dressed as infidel women for rape practice and they even had some goats (rather attractive ones) for men who really wanted to get the full Muslim experience.

No boring egg and spoon race, from the roof they had a gay throwing competition.  Of course they only used mannequins but inshala, one day they will be live ones.

The kiddies weren't left out either, they had so oh so cute suicide vests for the little detonators to try on.

No wonder Islam is the fastest growing religion, they get to do all the fun stuff.

Some Australians don't accept the notion of Islamophobia as valid. They have every human right to be appalled by the insular, intolerant, and violent ideology, which can only be denied by avoiding the body-count justified by the Koran. Remember, Muzlums are God's chosen people. You are a second-class form of life.

phobia by definition means an irrational fear issue.

I think you are looking for a different word that means rational fear of Islam.

Poor women. Won't even show their hair because their men are jealous. What a pack of door mats. Muslim women look so beaten down it's sad.
