Yeah shes a flat earther. i was hoping someone here had heard the hologram theory before though and explain how they did it in the days before we had hologram technology and most of all why. Why do they think anyone would go to the expense of making a hologram and calling it a moon.

The way I remember the flat earther across the road explaining it, there is a dome above the flat disc shaped earth, all the stars, moon and sun are projections onto the dome. We obviously didn't build the dome, it's not our tech. I don't think I can explain it much more than that, it scrambles my brain listening to them.

They are kind of a mind f#@ck to listen to and get explanations from. For instance I asked how one can fly or sail around the world, at the equator for example. The explanation was that when you get to the edge of the disc there is a time dilation and you are moved around the edge of the disc in quick time to bring you out where you should be, on the opposite edge of the disk as if the world was a ball. Don't think too hard on it, it will give you a headache. My flat earther neighbour even told me the reason planets look round in a telescope is because of the round lenses in telescopes and that if lenses were square...

Then asked why you miss the bottom portion of a tall large object in the distance. The explanation was messed up to say the East.

How dare you! Are you trying to hurt their feelings by denying their reality? Pointing out the problem with their beliefs is wrong! You may cause them to have mental health problems and the dysphoria you induce may be life threatening. Best to change the world to let them feel safe and secure in their delusion. The world is flat and there are 64 genders.

Edit: Funnily enough he's a poof, not that there's... but he also states there are only two genders and the others are delusional. He's not actually a bad person to be with if you don't let him get into his "thing" and yes, I rip on him when he brings this poo up as do others. He used to be a barista at the soup kitchen and still drops in regularly.
