QUESTION;
Why would a moslem, living in the UK, want to destroy British heritage ?

He wasn't trying to steal it.    Duh.

He was there with a hammer.


How do i know he was a follower of ISLAM ?

I don't.

It just sounds, to me, like something which a follower of ISLAM would try to do.
