Saud investigates its own crime
Oct 23rd, 2018 at 8:49pm

Someone said “Absolute power corrupts absolutely.” This has always been the case in Arabia under the family of Saud. They tolerate the Wahhabs, merchants of death for Allah, and share their methods. Much was made of the legalisation of women drivers in the Kingdom. It has nothing to do with a more inclusive or open society.

The murder of Khashoggi is the most recent example of Saud stupidity. At first they completely denied the journalist was murdered at the embassy. Then one of the hit squad went missing, and the story has been changed on daily basis. Now they are trying to look all contrite with an investigation which will do nothing but blame the hit squad.

It is fairly obvious that there is a lot going on behind the scenes between the Sauds, Turkey, the USA, and now Europe. At first the Turks wanted to use Khashoggi's Apple Watch as a public source of their information, but they had to give up on that.

They bugged the Embassy, and listened while Khashoggi was tortured, murdered and his body dismembered. Instead of pursuing justice, those concerned are looking for ways to let this blow over. In the end, all will be forgiven for Petro Dollars, and huge military equipment contracts.

The affair shows how paranoid the Sauds are. Khashoggi was no threat to Saud security or their sovereignty, but he offended their assumption of what absolute power should be able to get away with and have everyone shut up and take it. The thing is, they will win, with the help of everyone in the diplomatic community.

I hope they are overthrown by the people.

Given that the house of Saud is one of the most repressive and secretive governments, it is unlikely the "people" will do anything. It also the heart of Islam, so in that's a double whammy for the powers of darkness.

Are we supposed to believe this an honest handshake? What happens if he snubs the "Crown Prince?"

We've warned of this, Issue. Saudi Arabia is probably the most barbaric, hypocritical state on earth. While they cut off the hands of thieves, their leaders are cutting up their opponents.

For Australia and the US to have an alliance with such a regime makes us complicit. While we oust the Saddams and Gaddafis of the world, we cuddle up to the Saudis.

Obama's strategy of bringing Iran back into the international fold now makes sense. The only thing the Saudis have going for them is not publicly threatening Israel.

I don't give a sh*t who you say is complicit. You are a Muzlim. Of course you think doing business with Iran is forgivable. The only significant difference between Iran and Saud is that one is Kingdom and the other is a Republic. Both are corrupt, violent, sadistic and misogynistic, and they both want to rule Islam.

Iran has held up to its deal, dear. The Saudis just make the US look nasty. Mr Trump's sole justification for letting them get away with this is they buy US weapons.

But look who Mr Trump's dealing with - Putin, Kim and MBS, all of them cheats and deal-breakers.

Iran ceased its nuclear program after its deal with Obama. Kim Jong Un continues to test.nukes. Putin keeps meddling in other countries' elections. MBS keeps murdering other countries' residents and, I strongly suspect, keeps funding Sunni terrorism.

Mr Trump only offers these leaders praise while he sends out nasty Tweets against allies like Trudeau, Merkel and May.

If the US won't deal with the Saudis, the rest of the world should, just as they continue to uphold their deal with Iran.

The one thing that Mr Trump shares with these dictators?

He's a deal-breaker. Let's hope the rest of the world can uphold it's deals, but yes, like you I assume no one will take a stand against Saudi Arabia.

For the 5th time, the Sauds are changing their story.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-saudi-khashoggi-turkey/saudi-arabia-now-says-...

But they will get away with it. Everyone who does business with them, is scrambling to find a way to white-wash prince Salman and the regime.

The kingdom of Saud is the centre of the world that Gandalf says Australia is already a part of simply because Muzlums live here.
