You have to look at the question without an idiomatic filter. The term want to may have an unintended relation to the question.

For example, in Australia you will hear people say, "You want to do this or that." It's actually a suggestion, and not a statement.

Either way, I have to take "want to" out. If you ask why Muzlums use their children as suicide bombers, (which is a fact) I would guess they don't want to, but are compelled to for more than one reason.

Take a look at Islam prior to 1950. Any broadening of perspective was confined to a small privileged group who could afford to be influenced by Western progress. But the vast majority were mired in ignorance, superstition, poverty and worst of all, tribalism. All of this was underpinned by "will of allah," as dictated by the Koran.

After 1950, this vast majority became increasingly exposed to Western culture and the attendant realisation that Westernisation was spreading throughout the world. That cultural change is not the least bit interested in what Muzlums believe is the "will of allah." And that scares Muzlums, because they see inevitable change around them, in the most basic aspects of daily life.

The fear of change breeds anger, and Muzlums fall back on tribalism. Any examination of history, by those who lived it, shows cruelty and sadism spread right across the Islamic tribes from Morocco to Malaya, even before the time of Mohamed.
