This thread seems to be all about a male's point of view. Last time I looked, it was the female who got pregnant and, if necessary, needed to make the decision to have an abortion. Often times the female doesn't even tell the male that she is pregnant.

Yes, it's wrong as it does not give the father a say but even if she chooses not to tell him, she can claim off him for 18 years. Men are supposed to "man up" to fatherhood, take responsibility and at the same time have no say at all, while the woman can just "choose" WTF she likes.

Only men have minds capable of discernment. Women are victims of the penis. They cannot say no. They want to be bathed in semen and can't help themselves. They carry no blame. Both my grandsons were premature.

The first arrived naturally 8 weeks early .... was in humidicrib and kept in hosp for nearly a month.

He has high functioning autism.

The second started to come (waters broke) at 26 weeks but he was kept in utero until 30 weeks when he again tried to enter the world ... he was delivered by C section and took some time to get breathing.

His mother developed a raging infection post op & was gravely ill for 48 hours.

The little bloke had a lung problem & a genetic larynx abnormality ... which saw him stop breathing on several occasions. he also had reflux.

He spent 4 months in ICU & in the premmie ward.

There were babies there much more premmie than him.

Some don't make it home. Both mine came home & are healthy.

But both the hospitals granddads boys were born in fought tooth & nail for those boys & every other premmie baby in the respective hospitals to live.

So much time & resources spent on maintaining "life".

In saying that I cannot imagine that govt/politicians would agree to a bill that would terminate the life of a healthy well formed late term baby without there being exceptional circumstances/very very good reason.

Especially one that has gone 37 weeks .... if the mother doesn't want it .... it can be put up for adoption .... like has been done for decades.

If that 37 week figure is something just plucked out of the air by right to lifers then I say shame on them.....

it's just scaremongering & malicious gossip.

This is the same mob who shoot & stab people outside abortion clinics or try to blow them up.

Of course he did. 37 weeks is just 1 week before due. Normal birth. Its a fake thing that went around in america a few years ago adapted for aussies. Doubt mechanic did it himself though.
