Wentworth is no drawn conclusion, Howard's or not or dirty emails, the contest it seems is between Sharma and Phelps, Labor and Greens...not likely.

It depends on the electorate and their attitude towards what the LNP had done to Turnbull....a payback, and climate change.

In my opinion that's the all important factor, then thats just me one doesn't know the people of Wentworth and whats foremost on their minds...for the Jewish lobby its all Israel and climate change doesn't rate.

From observation on TV watching Sharma being interviewed he is one smart dude and does all the right things...he listens and then gives a intelligent convincing answer.

If there is enough time he would win the Wentworth punters over.

Phelps has 3 disadvantages 1) She is gay 2) She is a women 3) She is a moderate Liberal...apart no room for them in the LNP anymore.

Her stance on climate change can be negated with a general consensus support for the Libs....

What ever Wentworth decides if not Labor and Greens, its meet the new boss same as the old.

The Liberals are in trouble in Wentworth. 35% primary vote is dire after Turnbull managed 62% at the last election. Phelps has got most of these missing votes.

Whoever makes the final two will comfortably beat the Liberals in the final count. That is likely to be Phelps on current polling. Murray (ALP) would probably be third and Phelps would get maybe 90% of Murray's preferences.

It's bad for the Liberals in NSW when they are losing seats they have held for decades. Wagga Wagga, now Wentworth. And they're still not getting the message.

The funny thing about that is that the high unemployment was done deliberately. Howard believed that job demand it would push down wages and fix the inflation problem.

He managed to push unemployment to about its highest levels Australia has seen and then found that it hadn't worked inflation was still steaming ahead as if nothing had changed. One of his many failures. Not many treasurers have deliberately put a million or so people out of work just to satisfy his dogmatic belief system.

Actually this was how he had turned inflation into stagflation he took a bad situation and made it 100 X worse.

Howard was always ready to make tough decisions for other people.
