Most major scientific institutions and Governments in the world have accepted AGW is a concern and we must take action....This Government is doing nothing about reducing carbon emissions and risks falling well behind in renewable energy investment and new technology by cutting funding to research....This rabble must go!!!

So because of drought he can't grow crops. It has happened before. Or are you saying this time it will never rain normally again?

How much has this temperature magically risen by? Is it the maximum temperature that has risen or the minimum temperature that has risen?

You should at least provide some substance to your claim. Wink

Edit: he claims the last 10 years, must be weather. Minimum of 30 years for climate.

What am I supposed to think? That when it rains, there is no climate change? I don't know what people are thinking. But sometimes it rains. Sometimes it does not. Some years have heavy rainfall. Other years have drought. I have had this argument with people who believe in climate change. If it rains, it is climate change. If there is drought, it is climate change. No such thing as varying weather events. But when you bring up a topic of no increased record maximum or minimum temperatures in a location for 30 years, they want to either claim that this is weather, not climate. Or they scold you for thinking that one area does not make a good case for the entire country.

How friggin' ignorant do you have to be to live in a remote inland area (where there would be not much more than 500mm per year) and think that you are not going to see drought years? Obviously, he is using the argument about climate change to guilt trip city people thinking that they are responsible for his drought problems.
