The refugee's r finding jobs
Oct 17th, 2018 at 6:59am

https://qz.com/1364947/more-than-300000-refugees-have-now-found-jobs-in-germany/
The idea that the refugees r a terrible burden for their host country , got me to doing a search on how they r doing now....

Critics of German chancellor Angela Merkel’s refugee policy said that her permissiveness would cripple the country, as the incomers—more than 1 million asylum seekers since 2015—couldn’t contribute to society by getting jobs. Figures released today by Germany’s federal labor agency, however, showed that
306,574 asylum seekers had found jobs as of May, a jump of more than 100,000 from the same month last year.
Young migrants, once trained, could be a boon for German employers, who are desperate for skilled labor. The labor office said
earlier this month that there were 1.2 million unfilled vacancies in the country
. The labor shortage in Europe’s largest economy is so dire that the government has floated a proposal that would make it easier for skilled workers from non-EU countries to move to Germany for work.
The latest figures on refugees finding jobs follows news earlier this week that the number of refugees unlawfully granted asylum was much lower than thought: the interior ministry said that a review of 43,000 asylum claims found that 99% of them (link in German) were correctly granted.

This doesn't sound life all that alarmist stuff ive been hearing about the refugee's just wanting a handout.......
Sounds like hard working ppl that just needed a hand  Wink

So all those sub continentals in supermarkets, banks, etc. --- they were chosen on merit, despite hundreds of experienced Aussies applying for the same positions?

Gee, makes you wonder how we coped back then, when bank employers and supermarket security persons were courteous, neat, conscientious, etc.

hang on ------ we didn't have or NEED glowering security persons back then

nor did banks NEED to install gadgets in the attempt to ensure the honesty of their employees

something changed, didn't it?

I would assume so, yes.

What's your theory?

Is Germany the same as Australia insofar as one hour's paid employment per week constitutes 'employed' ?

As if that would happen..... the government doesn't address such issues along lines of nationality, ethnicity, religion, and such... in case of discrimination... governments only like to quote the figures that serve their interests best....

I'm sure the article says 1.2 million job vacancies not 1.2 million refugee
Wink
100,000 up from the year before... how about children the elderly, sick, spouses, out of a million ppl how many r actually money earners in Australia ?
Wink

Actually i found it

Australia. 10,683,838 people living in the Australia in 2016 were employed, of which 62% worked full-time and 36% part-time. 2016
so 10 million employed and 25 million people.......
that makes the refugee's in Germany look pretty damn good Mr Hammer  Wink

There are simply not enough HOUSING UNITS to take refugees globally. Also where are they going to find JOBS, when they don't know a word of ENGLISH and the only etiquette they know is JUMPING FENCES? I'm gonna help you out and spell that for you — more gang activity, homelessness, and crime, and our beloved and greatest —  destabilization of the West of even further, and oppressing the indigenous White people.
