Some seek for a guru.

"Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding."

"God is a spirit."

Proverbs 2:1
My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;
3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
6 For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

Proverbs 2:1-6

If we will accept it, the WORD of God reveals to men.....

my words, and my commandments
are....
wisdom, and understanding

If you seek....
knowledge, and understanding
know and understand that....
the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

"out of his mouth" = = within the WORD of God, a man can find, wisdom and knowledge and understanding.

"....And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead."
Luke 16:31

Deuteronomy 4:29
