Barnacle, that is not accurate.

I will spend '5 pages' explaining a simple point or argument, bolstered with voluminous examples and evidence,
and then someone will complain that they wish that i could 'get to the point', in a single line of text.

bobby will back me up here!

Eh bobby.       Wink

A you tube link or asking the reader to google search it, isn't 'getting to the point'

Unless it is... Undecided

Barny believes he can obtain enlightenment from a 5 second sound bite -
he's sadly mistaken - some people spend 20 years studying eastern philosophy in India.

We're living in times of instant gratification -
and maybe that's the problem?
It reminds me of fast food.

Perhaps that is so but I'm not watching it either. We can learn from everyone we meet but I can watch my own ants.

I once sat by this tiny little pool on a slow trickling spring in beautiful bushland, observing the universe that dwelt within it. I was as a god looking down at the life and goings on therein. It was one on my best mushy trips ever.

I wouldn't want to take his time from one such as yourself.

His time is not taken when broadcast on the internet.

Think of it this way -
you don't have to go to India to receive enlightenment -
it's there - free of charge - just a click away.
What a bargain.

Depends on how I value my time.
You keep looking for enlightenment from others Bobby but that's not where you'll find it.

The only "guru" that we can learn from is "guru Bob" ... ABC radio  AKA The Coodabeen Champions.  Grin

14:16 mark Guru Bob turns up.
