I dont think we will ever please our aboriginal chums..

they have been supping at the fountain of sour grapes for a long long time.....its weir idnt it..

I go to a little art class....and they artist is very aboriginal minded  and a friend of hers has just come back from a festival where aboriginal women were painting.. she brought one in to show us.. really beautiful...it had the painters name on the back....it was as if it was written by a child...writing her name for the first time.....it struck me how and where do they get their inspiration from to do such beautiful work...with really almost no learning at all....

just how to live day to day.....

I dont pretend to understand them   I just wish the right mentors would get in and get them to feel equal with anyone and everything......if we work together instead of one group always pandering to the other.....

who knows where we would all go     UNITED....

How condescending of you, Cods.  How patronising.  Tsk, tsk, you really know how to make people feel worth while, don't you?   I do hope you enjoy your "little art class" along with all your chums from the right side of the tracks.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Nowhere near condescending, dicko.

Certainly nothing like the condescention necessary to engage with you, Bwian you silly, incomprehending fool.

There is no 'art', artifice in abo culture - that's  what cods perceived and communicated. You dont have to 'yeah but' everything, Bwian and you are too thick anyway to make a credible point.

Sorry, Soren, did you say something worth reading there?  At all?  No, it doesn't appear so.  Oh, dearie, dearie, me.  Tsk, tsk.   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

oh dear I must have caught a bit from you in sparta dear... you are so bloody good at it....every post  from you  is patronising.... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

its a nasty thing to pick up... I will do my level best from now on PET..

do you think   its great!!!!!! wonderful older women  who paint most beautifully cannot write their names......I find it rather sad......but it is up to them of course........ we can lead a horse to water.... as the old saying goes.........

I have and still believe  our aboriginal chums need to meet our govts half way.....

I will let the other oldies at my class know what your patronising thoughts are pet.. dont worry..

everybody is OK accept white Australians  we get it. Smiley Smiley Smiley

Oh, dearie, dearie, me.  Poor, poor, Cods.  Upset are you that your "little art classes" have failed to awaken your obvious, oh, so superior White racial artistic talents, particularly when compared to that of an illiterate tinted person, hey?

Cods, you have no idea how condescending you sound when you condemn other people for not having had all the advantages you have had.  Indigenous Australians are artistic, they produce wonderful artwork because they are not harboured by all that "book learnin'" that you seem to be.  Tsk, tsk, just imagine, living free, without the hinderances learnt in the school room, hey?   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Well, if I knew what an "NND" was, I might be able to answer you.  What does it mean?   Roll Eyes
