i was looking at this problem from a biological perspective.
humans are part predator/ part prey animal.
for millions of years we hunted and we were the hunted.
when you are hunting , you are taking action, you are exploring, you are moving forth bravely into the world, you are at the action not the reaction, you must remain calm and assertive. this releases dopamine and makes you goal orientated. at the end you get meat. you feel strong and powerful.
when you are a prey animal, you are in emergency preparation, you release adrenaline and cortisol, your blood sugar surges, your heart races, you either wish to cower in the corner or run. when the threat is over, you crave sugar to replace what you have burnt.
it seems to me that women (and many men) now live as prey animals, they identify as victims of the powerful, they are cry babiesw, they want to cower and hide or they want to run, the new PC rules seem to be to wring your hands, feel compassion for everyone and everything, suppress your masculinity, wet your pants and claim PTSD if anyone offends you. bullies everywhere, oppressors everywhere, you need more rights, you shun your responsibility to stand up with nobility and act with bravery. every injury requires litigation and someone to blame, you are a quivering mess.
and if you live like the second cohort, then you are running on cortisol and adrenaline, you crave chocalate and fizzy drinks and alcohol to sooth your freyed nerves, you get diabetes, the cortisol demolishes your health, you get cancer early from all the stress to your system and you die.
the obesity is a side show.
if you would just stand up straight, be a person who voluntarily took on a challenge, walk up the "narrow road to success" without complaint, then the fat would melt away.
but thats hard man,
thats so hard.
most people will never do it.
welcome to the obesity epidemic of entitled butt hurt complaining entitled sooks
