The reason they are not investigating is because of the Statute of Limitations and no other reason. If they are asked to investigate in regards to a background check on Kavanaugh, that is different.

what you forget is that it takes only TWO GOP senators to vote him down and his is out. A few GOP women have been disgusted with how the victim has been treated and how Kavanaugh has lied about it. Many in the GOP think he is a terrible candidate because of his extreme legal views but couldnt find a politically acceptable reason to dump him. THIS gives them the out.

The way they behave feels more like the 1950s than the 21st century. To give her credit, Kellyanne Conway is at least demanding that she be treated with respect, but she sounds like a lone voice. Women's right seem to be taking a huge step backward under Trump. And it is coming back to roost. Trump and the GOP's polls are plummetting and women are leading the charge away from him.

And they wont come back easily.
